As good as it gets in cordless tools
I’ve used makita tools for 10 years, I’m locked in!!! We all know the battery dilemma with tools?😩 I own 6 batteries and 8 of their tools I’m not looking to buy a whole new set. Good thing Makita stays on top with latest tech and top quality tools that work and feel great!!! That’s the reason I keep on buying whatever their selling when it comes to cordless tools. No one else’s around me in the building construction field has something that looks bigger and better to switch when I tend to have the best tool anyways

Great kit.
Received this kit as a Christmas gift. Finally was able to use it today to help my cousin install his backup generator.The hammer drill had no issues drilling through cinder block, and drilling pilot holes for tapcons.The impact driver had no issues driving tapcons into cinder block.

Makita doesn’t stand behind the warranty they offer!!
I would give this Makita set a 5 star rating but after dealing with makita customer service and the fact that they won’t cover my hammer drill on the 3 year warranty they say it comes with they are lucky to get a 1 star⭐️ Rating. I bought this combo kit in March of 2018 I use the impact driver all the time because it’s light compact and has great power. The hammer drill is a little bulky and I haven’t really used it much and that’s what gets me. I have used this drill a hand full of times on small projects as I’m a homeowner not a contractor. First problem was it started just randomly cutting off while I was drilling some pilot holes. Then the directional switch stopped working so no forward or reverse. So I called Makita they said ship it to them at my cost and they would look at it. This is a month before the warranty expires. Just got it back and they said this is not covered under warranty and the motor is burnt. Well I will never buy a Makita again since they don’t stand behind their product. Don’t label your product as contractor grade when it blows up for a homeowner that barely used it.
