Warm and Fuzzy feeling?
Its a very nice sound and built quality to early to say more, but I hear people complain about lack of warmth, but to me its nice. If you have any doubts just bung a analogue delay or chorus like, like say a BEHRINGER UC200 ULTRA STEREO CHORUS PEDAL£24.99 etc. well worth the money! I paired mine with an M Audio oxygen 61, Its a way to add aftertouch for 200 quid wow. But for overal peformance and sound and a good enough qaulity keyboard Im still amazed by by casio CTX5000! 350 quid! amazing, thanks Roland thanks Casio

It's a synth
Mimics the Roland synth well and takes up very little room. Controls a bit fiddly but with the module size that's to be expected. Anyone buying one of these more than likely knows what they're getting. No problems.

Compact and classic sounds
I do love the boutique range but there are a few annoyances, the early ones are no longer being supportive - good luck if you are using a Mac!And there is no racking solution from Roland! If you have more than two units, you need to be good at DIY to make a tidy solution, but if you are, the results are sweeeeeeet!

Even better than i expected
I bought this synth after seeing a couple of reviews on youtube, and wasn't expecting it to be as nice sounding as it is (being digital). As the owner of several analogue synthesizers, i know how a good synth should sound, and even this digital synth blew me away with it's sound. I absolutely love it and so glad i bought it.

All the 1980's Roland sound you can wish for in a very compact package
When this synthesizer was announced by Roland I knew I wanted it. And I couldn't be more pleased with it. It sounds gorgeous and even though there is a lot of "hidden" functionality, it is easy enough to learn to use. I would even go as far as suggesting this could be a good first synth for serious beginners, because it offers so much, you will be able to get a lot out of it.I particularly like the bi-timbrality, which effectively means you get two synthesizers for the price of one. I also like the wide range of built in effects. As far as the synthesis, very old school but with a few great twists such as a lot of destinations of the two envelopes, which means that you can make this subtractive synthesizer almost sound like an FM synthesizer. Very impressive. The sequencers are also pretty impressive with 64 steps and full motion control.I can highly recommend this, but if you buy this as your first synthesizer, please note that you will need a keyboard, either the Roland K-25m or better still a 4 or 5 octave (DIN) MIDI keyboard, ideally with aftertouch.

Buy one, get one free!
You actually get TWO JX-8P synths inside this synth - you can layer them for big sounds. That, plus the Ultimate Patches upgrade are what makes this synth one of Roland's best synths in recent years.

unterirdische Einstreuungen wegen usb netzteil
