Helpful product and 2 Important things I've learned in the TTC journey...
Pretty straightforward and easy to read, you can save strips and compare as others here did, but what I did was buy the more expensive versions that show a smiley-face and just used those 1-2 days/month to confirm when I thought these strips showed I was ovulating. Up to you, but I liked that added confirmation, and it's less expensive and less waste to mainly use these and those only when needed. What I did want to say here is if you, like me, are scouring these reviews just wanting to hear about others experiences/learn more/feel connected to others TTC and looking for some hope and new info, are these 2 things. 1. Trust your gut - if you've been using these tests correctly, predicting ovulation and having sex around the right time for a few months and still having no luck, go ahead and set up a test at a fertility clinic. I am 36, have never taken birth control in my life, had a super regular period and was tracking my ovulation for months before we started trying. (I didn't know about affecting egg health 90 days out - wish I had, def start taking the right vitamins!) When I would read various boards/reviews of people having trouble, I couldn't relate - I had none of those reasons (irregular periods, not learning ab ovulation tests until later on in the TTC journey, etc). I started to suspect maybe it was my partner? So I bought him some ashwagandha and made sure his multi-vitamin he was taking had close to 100% zinc, etc. but still no luck, which brings me to point 2. You don't have to wait 6 months or a year to go to a fertility clinic and get checked, that's the general recommendation and I totally understand why (b/c it's stressful, and people should try naturally without worry of a POSSIBLE issue that may have been detected), but if you've been doing everything correctly and are a little older and are starting to suspect there might be an issue (see point 1 above - trust your gut) then go! Most fertility clinics do a cheap testing for both people ($90 - probably b/c they want your eventual business should you need their help), which I found out from my acupuncturist (yeah I am doing that too - I highly recommend that as well if you can!). So we went right about that 6 month time frame, because I didn't know about it before then and I just sort of figured I'd wait until 6 months and ask my doc. Anyway - turns out my partner has super low motility and sperm count - so we were basically just wasting our time those past 6 months. It's totally fine, I'm only 36 and have time (and have a high number of follicles and whatnot, so shouldn't have to worry about eggs), but still given figuring out what's going on and getting the treatment and waiting for it to take effect - that's about 9-12 months total before we potentially can be pregnant.Hope that helps someone! Good luck and stay positive!! We live in a time with so much information and great science - we're lucky!

Cheap, Accurate, Easy to Use
I have two sons. With my first it took us 2 years to conceive; with my second it took 4 months. The difference? These test strips. Well, that and hormones and the mysteries of the female reproductive system. But still. The first time I tried to conceive, I would buy a set of 10 which-line-is-darker ovulation tests (at $20 per set) from the grocery store. You start testing based on when you would expect your period to start, which is great if you can predict the length of your cycle with some certainty. I’m sure such women exist, but I’ve never met one. And would such a woman even need ovulation tests? Anyway, I’d start testing around day 13 and use up the entire box without getting a clear result. The test line got darker, but never seemed darker than the control line. Or maybe I was overthinking it? Or maybe my hormones were just weaker than most? So I’d make my best guess, we’d do our thing, and I’d stop ovulation testing, because it seemed silly to buy another $20 box. Then, nothing. Again and again and again. My husband and I took all sorts of tests, and I took fertility meds, and still nothing. We did conceive eventually, but it happened when we weren’t “officially” trying, at day 24. Our guess is that most months I was ovulating several days after I stopped testing, when our babymaking attempts had paused for a few days. So that whole time we’d been using the rhythm method without realizing it.When we were trying for our second kid, I discovered these test strips. They are WAY cheaper than the grocery store ones, so I was doubtful they would work, but at 30 cents (versus $2) per test it was worth a try. And at that price, I could test for my entire cycle if I wanted. But these tests are actually better and easier to read than the grocery store ones. Either there’s a line or there’s not; none of this which-is-darker nonsense. There’s no plastic case, which explains why they are cheaper and also means less waste. Economical and environmentally friendly! It was truly amazing to take a test and get a clear result. It took me one month to figure out which was a test line and which were dye streaks. The next month I identified my ovulation day, and a few weeks later I discovered I was pregnant. Compared to the stress and frustration of two years of trying and trying and wondering if I could even have kids, this experience was almost miraculous. I highly recommend these tests. Good luck to you!
