Extra Large Deep Black Empty Magnetic Makeup Palette with Clear Window

I love that this comes with the magnets, and you don’t have to buy those separate. I depotted the Pat McGrath Bridgerton baked blush palette. The one that comes in the hideous giant bulky hat box packaging. It was easy to do and this z palette has saved the day. I can keep the beautiful makeup without the awful packaging it came with. It’s deep so it fits baked formulas!! It’s sleek and still slim. It has a window on the top so you can see what products are inside. I love this so much. So worth it.

This is the bonafide Z palette, that lets me create my own palette. I love these things. I'm going to depot several of my most cherished eye shadow shades and fill up this palette with shades I use regularly. No more switching between numerous palettes. This Z palette makes me feel like an artist with all of my favorite shades within easy reach. These are by far the handiest little numbers to come by in a long time. I know they've been around for years but they're new to me and I couldn't be happier. I decided to go with the medium size because I think most of my most beloved shades will easily fit. This palette is roomier than I thought it'd be and that's a very good thing. It's very sturdy and will be great for travel when I can mix and match to my heart's delight. I have a small leopard print Z palette that holds my holy grail blushes so this medium sized palette will be strictly for shadows. I don't do my eyes all the time, in fact most of the time I don't do them at all. But having every shade within easy reach will cut down on application time. I won't have to search through all my palettes and singles to find the right shade. They've be at my fingertips. What could be better? I definitely recommend this medium Z palette for anyone who wants the convenience of easy access that's not too large or too small. I debated for a long time before depotting my makeup: "why buy something ELSE to help me use stuff I've already paid money for?!" -- and now I'm a convert.I love this - sturdy, high quality case, with good magnets inside (plus more magnets in case your makeup isn't magnetic). I looked up a lot of DIY options and really, paying $17 for a high quality, durable solution seemed a lot better than everything else.It has helped me save a ton of space by getting rid of excess packaging and also helped me use some eyeshadows that weren't getting much love because it was too much of a bother to rifle through the drawer. I'm trying to downsize my makeup and this helps me get some good use out of all the stuff I have. After a day of using this I bought the small on Amazon to take when traveling.

I started buying eyeshadow from makeupgeek a year or so ago since the prices ($6 per pan) definitely beat MAC (about $19 and up) and is at least equal quality. Makeupgeek sells their eyeshadows without a case, which is actually really cool because then you can create your own palettes with whatever shades you want. And that's where this z palette comes in! It's magnetic and very sturdy, so you don't need to worry about your eyeshadow pans falling out and breaking. It's not plastic, it's like a kind of super stiff cardboard material and will last forever if you take care of it properly. A small z palette will hold 9 eyeshadows. This size is better if you have more than that or if you want to put a complete set of makeup together for traveling.

For anyone not familiar with a similar product by UNII, this review may not make sense, but I have been using (and have been very happy with) the UNII palette for many years now.Unfortunately, the hinge finally broke and I automatically tried to order an identical replacement. This is when I found that UNII is no longer in business.Long search later, I decided on this as a replacement.It's a tad larger - - - which is fine because although it's plenty large enough to hold my shadows and blush, it's still small enough for travel.Here are the comparison pros and cons:Pros:- although only a tad bit larger, it is quite a bit lighter because the UNII was made of thick,hard plastic.- it's thin enough to be compact, yet there is still enough clearance to hold domed productsCons (compared to my previous UNII):- the lid has a clear window so you can see the products that are inside. It's nice to see what's inside, but the UNII had a mirror in the lid which was more convenient and handy. I wish I'd thought to see if I could remove the mirror from the UNII case and afix it to the inside lid of this case, but I'd already thrown it out before I had that idea.- the lid is held closed by a magnet which is strong enough to hold it when packed in a makeup case, but I'm not sure I'd be confident enough to just toss it in my purse or loose in a suitcase. The UNII palette had a hinged clasp that snapped shut and held it securely closed.- also regarding the lid, is the fact that the lid sits flush when closed. In other words, it's a bit hard to open because there is no tab or overhang to use. I find myself using my fingernail to separate and lift the lid up, and I am imagining that over time, that area of the lid is going to show some wear.Overall though, given the fact that I'm comparing this to something that no longer exists, I am very happy and pleased with my new palette. It allows me a similar convenience and replaces my broken UNII very well.

Came earlier than expected and is an essential item that i need everyday. It is worth the money to spend on if you want to condense the packaging down to one palette. I will get more in the future.

Ich war vor dem Kauf überfordert welche Palette ich mir zulegen sollte, da es wenige Rezensionen gab. Ich hatte selbst depottete Lidschatten und maclidschatten zum Aufbewahren. Habe mich dann für die "large" entschieden...da passt für mich genug hinein und es ist echt praktisch.
