While this is thin for the summer, the fabric soft, and with the cool fabric print design, it is not "slouchy" enough. I returned mine.

I have long straight hair, and work in a green house, this hat keeps my hair up, out of the way, and off the flowers. The hat is comfortable and has good airflow. Also keeps the sweat off my brow. Also this hat doesn't get snagged in trellises like a hair net. If your looking for a good work beanie I would recommend.
