I always use rechargable batteries. I used to by the ones "with the copper coloured top" that you couldn't recharge and after many MANY incidents of those batteries leaking, despite the battery still working and having equipment get damanged, I changed to rechargables.I have a handy 4 slot charger for when I need to charge multiple batteries, but it is a bit of a pain getting that charger out of it's cupboard and having it lay on the floor for several hours while it does it's thing. It's even more of a pain if I only need to charge one battery.That's where this charger comes in. It's so small you can keep it in a desk drawer, or even next to your computer with your other USB devices like memory sticks etc. It's a really good charger, it lets you know how it is progressing through the charging process with the flashing green LEDs that show the progress of the charge from empty to full.The charger is even able to revive dead rechargable batteries that my other "smart" charger cannot revive. All I need to do with those batteries is get a small initial charge into the battery, then I can put them into the 4 slot charger and bring them to a full charge. This will help save on battery wastage, which is very good for the environment.It's a great little charger and I cannot recommend it enough!
