Wang Sun-Dried Fine Gochugaru, Red Pepper Flakes, Chilli Powder, 7.05 Ounce

Solid product. I've been exploring korean cuisine recently and this was an excellent find. Its a fairly large container and is spicy but manageable. I usually do poorly with spice admittedly. Its a nice red color similar to paprika and has a nice floral and spicy aroma. Overall not a terrible price considering the amount. Heat level i'd say isn't to different from your everyday chili powder.

It's a red pepper so it's gonna be spicy!! Not much to say about it. The product arrived in good order, the grind size of the pepper is just right for my needs. The source is free flowing, no clumps or moisture issues. The flavor is spot on for what this product is and I use it all the time in my Korean noodles. I'm a wuss though, so I use a 1/4 of the amount that any of my recipes call for because I can only handle gentle heat. 😄 This should last me forever, but should I actually run out, I will definitely order it again.

It really brings a fried chicken dredge to life! The heat is medium, the powder is fresh, and the price is right. The color is bright red, and the quality is very good. It works well in chicken and chili recipes. Very versatile ingredient.

Flavor is excellent but not much heat.

Ok first off the the pepper powder is fine . Very fine powder. Low hot mouth feel and beautiful color.My complaint is with who ever decided to put the sticker right over important information instead of any of the other blank spots they could of put it. Ridiculous! Less than 2 inches lower and the sticker would not be blocking anything I need to read.you can’t peel the sticker off without ruining the writing beneath either. I tried on the pack of Doenjang which also came with this order and they also placed the sticker right across the information label instead of a blank spot.Update: I carefully scratched away at the big sticker and found that the manufacturer has a scan bar, although much smaller, that Amazon must be trying to cover. Too bad the sticker is so big that it not only covers the manufacturer’s scan code but also some of the manufacturer’s info.

This gochugaru has a rich, smoky aroma and just the right level of heat—spicy but not overwhelming. The fine texture makes it easy to blend into sauces, soups, or marinades. The 7 oz size lasts a while, and for the price, it’s a great value. Super versatile and a must-have for Korean dishes or adding depth to everyday meals!

I am a big Cayenne fan and use it on everything but organic Cayenne can be expensive. I came across this and decided to try. It's not as spicy as Cayenne but is full of flavor. 4 months and 3/4 of the bottle is gone and I'm the only one in the house. I use it alot. Just recently I put it in bone broth and it was fantastic. I keep it in the frig. No issues with spoiling.

I used this to make kimchi and it was delicious! The leftover powder turned into a brick after like 2 weeks.
