I was looking for a larger monitor- name brand. Hooked up using old wires. Color, brightness and contrast perfect out of the box. I use for internet and emails only. The height is fixed but measures the same as all my monitors. Spec says 75hz but NO mentioned on back other than 100-240v @ 50-60 hz. I checked and all my other monitors make no mention of 75hz refresh rate. The higher the hz refresh rate, the better for gaming purposes. Good luck, you'll love this monitor. Jim A

I enjoy it; the quality and picture are good, however, I wish it had sound.

The monitor provided an easy way to spread my documents and spreadsheets across multiple screens, improving my productivity.A good value, simple and effective.

I do not game or anything like that. I did want a second monitor for when updating spreadsheets and the such. No more writing down information to have at hand, etc... . I have only had this monitor for a short period of time and must write that so far it is a good one. No dead pixels as of yet, was delivered in a pristine box without even a scratch or mark (delivered by the new system of Amazon Logistics). The colors seem very good to me but then again, it is used for home office only. Well, I did play a game of solitaire and the colors looked good then also. I looked at refurbished monitors as well as new ones. I really didn't want to have to float a loan for a monitor and did notice some were too much on the pricey side for my simple needs. This monitor is at a reasonable price, and a good monitor made by a fairly reliable manufacturer. Set up was easy, required cables came with it (HDMI and power) in the box. Just plug the cords into the respective sources, set up monitor preferences and Viola!, you're good to go. I would recommend this monitor as a dual monitor set up for home office use.

Love it only thing (why took off star) the cord in the back that connects like seems to need to be pushed in more everytime I turn it on I have to like push it in more it’s strange but takes a few seconds, still just annoying

This is a nice monitor for the money. Great display. The stand allows the screen to tilt, and the rectangular base is far more stable than round ones if they need to be shimmed because of an unlevel desk, as I learned the hard way.The issue I had was the power cord. This was the first one I've ever seen that was defective. It wouldn't seat properly in the monitor, and the slightest touch would make the power flicker. I run two monitors, so I checked by switching cords. The problem moved to the other monitor. I bought a replacement cord and no more issues. This is a silly thing, but it was getting worse each day, and it made the monitor unusable.

I am blind, but I need a monitor for my Mac mini in case something goes wrong and I need assistance. This one is excellent for the price. Obviously the video quality won’t be top-notch, but it works well enough. The stand is fairly plain, but I’ve seen far worse at this price point, so it’s quite good overall. There are only three things I dislike about this monitor. First, I wish it had an external power supply to make the unit thinner and reduce internal heat. Second, I wish it had a display port connector. Third, the included HDMI cable proved to be somewhat unreliable, so using your own would be a good idea. Also, you can disable the very irritating splash screen in the menu and reduce the time between pressing the power button and seeing what you want to see on screen considerably.
