Great glove but order 2 sizes larger
The main point you should be aware of with this brand is how small their sizes run, as you may have read in other comments. Take heed of these comments. My hand measured a medium according to their sizing chart on the product page. I ordered an Lg and and XL at the same time to be safe. The Lg fit my hand fine, but the placement of the palm padding at the base of the fingers (palm side of the knuckles) was significantly lower than it needed to be, almost into the area of my palm. I tried on the XL and it fit PERFECTLY, even though it two sizes up according to their sizing chart.Other than the sizing issue fit and finish seem to be great. Very comfortable with velcro wrist to make getting it on and off easier.I'll give more detail after I have been using them for a few months.

Well made but snug
I bought these to replace the last set of Castelli gloves that I’ve been using for years. They’re an usual cut around the wrist but feel good while riding. My one complaint about them is they’re a pain in the rear to remove after a ride. I think it has to do with how small the opening is even when fully open but this is outweighed by how much I like these gloves while riding.Build quality & materials are excellent.

Way too small for xl
I wear xl in every type of glove. Look well built. But can’t say on function. Xl is lg or smaller.

Good Value for Higher Price
These gloves are expensive but well worth the price. Look great and provide excellent protection against numbness. Order one size larger.

Another viewpoint on size
This is a great glove, no question. I do plenty of miles as a road biker, and I recommend you buy it. But I’ve got another viewpoint on sizing. I spent a lot of time reading all the reviews that you should get 1-2 sizes bigger. I measured 8.1 inches (low end of medium) and so bought large. It fit snugly, but it was too big, the four pads at the base of the fingers bunched up, especially when clenching my fingers (as you would on handle bars), and the fabric on the back of the hand cinched up a bit when I velcroed it close. Sure, I could wear it and it would do the job, but it wouldn’t be perfect, and don’t you want a cycling glove to be perfect for $50 plus?! I think there is a general misunderstanding here in the customer reviews about sizing. This is a cycling glove, not a winter/general use glove, and should fit very snugly, like a second skin. Don’t worry about it being too tight, the fabric in the finger areas is soft and flexible enough to avoid feeling tight on the fingers. I returned the large and replaced with a medium and it fits perfectly, just like the chart indicates. Castelli is one of the most well known and reputable cycling companies, and I think they would do quite a bit of research to get their sizing chart right. I recommend measuring your hand as they indicate and go with what the sizing chart recommends. I guess you might have to size up if you have unusually thick fingers, but for most people I think the sizing chart will work just fine.

size recommendation
Love these gloves! Echoing what others said about the size being too small. Although I don't agree with it being because everything of Castelli's is small (even though it is). The real problem is just their measurement guide is flawed. Measuring my hand as shown, my hand is exactly 9 in which in their chart is right in the middle of a Large. I normally wear XL gloves. I bought the XL and they are tight. No way I could've gotten a large on my hands and 2XL might have been a little too loose. I know they should be tight, these are and I'm ok with that. They are tough like most (if fit properly) to remove. They are very comfortable and I'm very happy with the purchase.

Worth the $ and good quantity
Totally worth the money, get one good pair and enjoy them. So much better then most cheap gloves so if you want quality just get these. Little snug but after using it’s the thinnest less bulky glove I’ve tried and now I like the tight fit, like a second skin and not like a normal loose fitting glove.

strano progetto
