Great immobilizer
Have been wearing the generic/standard sling I received in the ER for my broken collarbone for 3 weeks. So much risk of an errant movement that will set healing back to zero. Got this one today and its a game changer. By locking down my bicep I can't accidently move my shoulder. Having my wrist held more securely does the same while allowing me to loosen it to eat or sleep. It's also more comfortable. Feel it will be more reliable for driving and working out. Ordering another one.

great product, great quality, great price
I used this sling while I injured my rotator cuff. It kept me from habitually moving my shoulder which was so painful to do. It did its job for sure. it does run small so keep that in mind when choosing the size.

VERY comfortable, chest strap can be hard to get tight with one arm
Great construction and materials (elastic parts have venting mesh, wrist strap material soft but supportive) and the comfort level is light years beyond the hospital supplied one. 4 ⭐️ only because the chest strap has the grabby velcro on the (injured) arm side which means you have to pull tension with the arm you shouldn’t be moving. Not an issue if you have someone to help but by yourself can be difficult. 42” chest, 5’11” 165lbs size 4 is fits great. Overall I’ll deal with the chest strap issue due to how comfortable it is, happy with my purchase!! *UPDATE* Three weeks have passed since I started using this and I’m still very satisfied! I didn’t sleep much with the other one since it was so uncomfortable and this one made all the difference! I’m really glad I got this since I have to wear it for 12 weeks. Easily worth every penny!

Comfortable and effective
My teenager broke her clavicle and was given this flimsy sling to wear from the Dr. she wouldn’t stop moving her arm and hurting herself so I got her this. LOVE IT And huge game changer. The Dr was impressed with it as well. She liked the minimal material and had much less pain as she was immobilized. Plenty soft also. The smallest size was just a touch big on her but it worked well enough. She’s petite at 5’

Game changer - BUY THIS - you won’t regret it
I’ve been dealing with a humerus fracture right at the shoulder where the rotator cuff attaches. The first several weeks were rough. The immobilizer sling I was given — basically a regular sling with an extra strap pinning my upper arm tight to my side — made sitting and sleeping nearly impossible. At night, I’d unknowingly take it off because the pain was so intense. And because traditional slings go on and off over your head, every single removal or adjustment sent a sharp wave of pain through my shoulder. Sitting wasn’t any better. I was constantly adjusting straps, trying to find a remotely comfortable position. The final straw was a recent plane ride where no matter what I did, I couldn’t get comfortable. Five weeks into this injury, still hurting constantly, still living in that sling. So after that flight, I finally switched to a different style of immobilizing sling I had bought earlier — and wow. Total game changer. This new sling keeps my upper arm stable, but lets me move from my elbow to my fingertips. I could instantly feel the difference. My pain dropped by at least 80%, and I no longer felt completely handicapped. I could actually use my hand and forearm by simply undoing a small wrist strap — and best of all, no more wrestling a sling over my head. At my next appointment, I told my doctor I suspected the original sling was actually making things worse. He agreed the new one was fine, with one rule: no outward rotation of my forearm (so the rotator cuff doesn’t pull on the fracture). Today I started physical therapy, and the therapist said I’m way ahead of where most people are with this type of injury — especially at my age. I honestly believe this sling made all the difference in my progress and range of motion. So if you or someone you know ever needs an immobilizing sling, I highly recommend this style once you’re far enough along to safely use your forearm. It truly changed my recovery. 💪✨

Does not fit right. Difficult to put on
This brace is only ok. The idea is good but there are a couple serious problems with it. First. The upper arm band is extremely difficult for me to fasten with one hand. This starts everything off bad because it is difficult to position my arm for proper support. The second serious problem is the placement of the arm bands. For my arm and shoulder the bands are not positioned correctly. The upper band is too low and the wrist band is too far away from the other band. The size is probably correct but the configuration is wrong. If my body dememntions were different maybe it would work. My arm I guess is too short. I wish I could find something like this that fit right.

They run VERY SMALL!
My husbands chest is 50 inches, I ordered the size 48-54 inches and it was way too small. We measured the item for length and it was 50 inches long. The velcro only overlapped about half an inch, and that was snug. I returned and they only refunded $19.00 instead of the $24---they deducted return shipping! I have Amazon Prime, and it was a "Prime" item. There was no indication in the item description about not being able to return it or having to pay return shipping. Then---I reordered another one in the biggest size--54-60 inches. When we received the 2nd one, we measured it and IT WAS THE EXACT SAME LENGTH!!!!!!!!! The first one ordered was labeled size 3XL, the second one was labeled 4XL, and they were exactly the same length--50 inches, and fit the same. I returned that one also, but this time the return stated I was receiving the entire purchase price. This company does not have good sizing information on this item. The worst thing is that they deducted return shipping on the first one I ordered! I should never had to pay return shipping----THAT'S why I have Prime!!!! We gave up on trying to find one that would fit without being tight, and we used an ACE bandage wrapped around his chest and upper arm. The ACE bandage reminded him not to raise his arm above his shoulder and was stretchy enough to not be uncomfortable. I would NEVER buy from Wonder Care company again!!!!!

Sicherer halt
