Optimum 700 Big Mouth Cold Press Juicer

A monster of a machine. Does great in just about every sense. The quality can be felt. It is HEAVY!My only dislike is that with so many parts it becomes a BIG chore to clean it. But this comes with the territory if you decide to buy a juicer with these many parts and features.In conclusion: at this price, if you aren't juicing fairly regularly, it is probably not worth it.

The one great feature of Optimum 700 is how you do not need to cut up your apple to place it in the feeder. However, you do need to cut celery into pieces so that the juicer does not clog up so easily. The downside is the juicer will clog up just like other similar slow masticating juicers. I still find this product a good buy because it preserves the nutrients of all fruits and vegetables.

As far as producing juice Optimum 700 is awesome! The pulp that is extracted is dry as opposed to centrifugal juicers that produce very wet pulp that I used to run back through to get the maximum juice. In that aspect the Optimum 700 is great. Assembly is easy; taking the juicer apart is brutal!! I know that the strings from celery and broccoli stems tend to clog up the base. Sometimes it takes me 15+ minutes of prodding and strenuous pulling to separate the juicer from the base. To me this is totally unacceptable!! Sometimes I hate juicing because of the hassle of pulling the base apart!!! I bought the juicer to be able to make juices a few days in a row to save time in the morning. I won't stop juicing because of this but it sure makes me think twice every time I use the Optimum 700. If there are any suggestions out there as to an easier way to take this machine apart PLEASE let me know!!! And please do not tell me to stop using celery or broccoli stems (both of these add to my juice) or to take it apart as soon as I'm finished because I've tried that too!!! To no avail. It literally takes all of my strength and about 15+ minute to separate it!!.

I really love this juicer! It does the job quickly, efficiently, and removes all of the pulp and fibrous materials. My only issues with it are that there are many parts to it that have to be taken apart and cleaned each time and sometimes they are very hard to dismantle. I've never owned or used a juicer before this one, so maybe all of them have these issues. But I would still recommend this to someone just starting out with juicing.

Before you read this I want to let you know that the company that carries this brand Froothie is very professional and their customer service is fabulous.Although I ended up returning mine, they were amazing all the way.I both this item in April 2017. Took it out of the box in May. Started using it in June and been thinking about returning it for two months.It is almost impossible to keep up with the cleaning. Sometimes I just want to throw it away.You really have to be committed with either your health or lifestyle or weight. Yeah, I have to separate the weight from the health because many people may think it is ok to be overweight.So.Hear this out before you buy it or you will hate it.1. You must, must clean it after every use. Every. The parts will get sticky the minutes you finish juicing.2. Ensambling is a nightmare but not as much as desensambling it for cleaning. It will be full of pulp everywhere. If you have big hands I bet you won't be able to pull the device that masticates easily.3. It takes about 10 to 15 minutes every desensambling+ cleaning.Imagine doing that mornings and nights, in case you really want to introduce juicing to your life or maybe for a partner or family.4. Do not forget about all the waste. Yeah. My best advice is to use the Garbage disposal for all of it, do not throw to the trash or you'll have mosquitoes at night.5. Always have room near the sink to let it dry.6. I won't even mention all the room you need for a lot of vegetables, washing, chopping, sorting and storing.7. The only only good thing I see, and I say this with lots of difficulty is that you are able to juice with out noise and for several batches.8. So, I have come to terms with the masticator. Every morning I prepare 3 juices, greens or fruits and bring them with me throughout the day.9. As a tip, buy all vegetables and fruits prewashed so that you save more time (not very good for all the disposing of plastic tho).I promise you, if you are not committed, you will hate it.I am committed.

It has met my expectations so far! It's easy to use and fairly quick to clean. Makes great tasting juice :)

Gets clogged very easy with the out feed. And it's hard to get out.

This is not as advertised. It does not make juice quickly because food constantly gets trapped in the outlet to the waste bin. You frequently have to stop in the middle of juicing and clean the outlet to the waste bin because it gets blocked quickly. Very disappointing. The juice also comes out very Pulpy. You can put a filter over the juice bin but there is a lot more waste than expected. The online videos are miss-leading. Had it now for over a month and thought with practice we would improve the functionality of the juicer but that has not happened it continues to function poorly.
