The spy camera works as expected. I bought it to monitor my pet when I sleep and go out. It has 4k scene so I can see it when I turn off the light. The appearance is so cute and won't take much space to put it on narrow room. It can be turn around in a wide angle and it can be stand here or stick on the wall. And the camera can be removed from the base which make itself hide better. The quality is definitely worth the price. I set uo motion detection whenever my pet has any motion when I sleep, it works great too. The spy camera will take pictures of the motion in a period. All in all, it works great for me.

Simple step-by-step instructions with photos help guide you through the process.You can even set it up so that the camera can be accessed from more than one phone. You can use the Motion Detector feature to automatically begin recording when movement is sensed nearby! Another great feature is the night vision mode. I can't wait to try that. I have noticed that the picture quality is great!This camera has so many great features that it will probably take me a while to become familiar with all of the settings and functions but I"ll sure have fun while I'm trying!

First, please note that when you purchase this device, then go to register the warranty on their website, they pretty much bribe you with a gift card IF you provide proof (screen shot) of a 5-STAR REVIEW. If you don't provide the 5-STAR REVIEW screen shot to them, they then try and strong-arm (badger) you into doing it... so you can pretty much IGNORE every 5-STAR REVIEW here, since this product isn't that great!I've set-up dozens of these types of cameras for various purposes, and the instructions on this one were flat-out WRONG on many pages! So it took me an ENTIRE DAY to cobble pieces of the instructions together, set-up the camera over and over and over, just to get the camera set-up with the phone app (but the app only works within 5-10 ft of the camera, so it shows offline most of the time--almost useless).The phone app requires that the camera's WiFi MUST run on the same WiFi network as your phone does, and it MUST be 2 Ghz (the camera apparently will not work on 5 Ghz, according to the instructions). SPECIAL NOTE REGARDING YOUR WIFI NETWORK (NOT THE CAMERA'S WIFI): YOUR WIFI NETWORK MUST NOT HAVE ANY SPECIAL CHARACTERS IN THE NETWORK/SSID NAME OR THE PASSWORD, SINCE MOST OF THESE TYPES OF DEVICES WILL NOT CONNECT IF YOU'VE SET-UP YOUR WIFI WITH SPECIAL CHARACTERS (ex. !@#$%^&*) FOR GREATER SECURITY.When initially trying to set-up the camera, I tried setting it up with their cloud, with my phone's hotspot, but finally I just settled on recording straight to the SD card (I use a 256 GB card, not a 32 GB card--I'm not sure if that was causing any of my initial issues, since it took quite a while for the camera to recognize/initialize the SD card).Later I discovered that it had been recording the entire time, so the battery ran down and the camera shut-off once, so I had to stop and recharge it (just use the provided cable and plug it into any USB wall socket or PC/laptop--I didn't need any "special" adapters).You get what you pay for here! The "marketing" says that it's capable of 4K video, but the settings only allow FHD and UHD (UHD is NOT the same as 4K). So realistically, to me it only has about the same video quality as my other 720p/1080p cameras that were HALF the cost of this one (and I didn't see the frames per minute listed anywhere)... but my experience is that all of the cheaper cameras that I've tested in this price range are not so easy to work with (only the 4K cameras that I have that cost well over $250-$500 have worked as expected)...Ultimately, I was really looking for a cheap 4K portable camera in the smallest possible size that will record straight to SD card for a few hours of fun, so hopefully this will meet 80% of my requirements. But I still need to strap this camera to my 1/6 scale Monster RC Truck and bash on it until the battery runs out to see how it holds up (stay tuned)...

We raise chickens. I bought this in hopes of figuring out which one of our birds has been pecking and eating all of the eggs (not good). The camera comes with a sturdy mounting base with optional sticker pads. Because I planned to put it in a dusty, outdoor coop, stickers were not an option. Instead, I 'MacGyvered' it (out of harm's way) to a joist in the chicken coop with one of my camera rigs, a cell phone clamp and some bubble wrap (it worked)!Installation and user instructions were easy to understand. After installing the app, I had the camera connected to my phone and home WiFi network in under 5 minutes. Since I don't have time to sit and watch a live chicken feed all day , I used the 'record' setting with a microSD card (not included). Some users complained that it doesn't record in 4K, but at UHD, the resolution is still good. In fact, it's so good that I was able to identify the offender in two days (see picture)!The battery life is about two hours outside in extreme cold. When viewing live, there is some definite video lag. I use a WiFi extender to boost my signal outside, so the lag was more pronounced with the camera located further away from the house. That was expected.The sound is 'tinny', but this is a spy camera after all. The color is decent with no noticeable color cast. With regards to density, the shadow rendering is good, but the camera's Achille's heel is its ability to handle highlights. They tend get blown out in indoor and outdoor lighting situations.

I was trying to buy it to facilitate my observation of my pet kitten. After I bought it and used it, I was greatly surprised, it works very well. It's very emotional to use, and you can see everything in clear detail when you link the camera to your phone.

I bought this to capture the garden behind my house, because i have a problem when my yard is entered by animals (especially at night).I struggled at first with some things, but i reached out to the seller, and they responded very promptly and willingly to help with everything i needed. I can activate it quickly, and it is perfect as a hidden camera.This product is much easy to use than the alternatives and is quick and easy to activate recording. The camera lens is not as discrete as some similar devices but isn't too obvious and the quality of the video was great.
