I was surprisingly assigned Horchata to bring to my daughter's Cinco de Mayo party. I'd never made it before and I'm really busy so I researched and found this mix and was super happy with it! I added vanilla, a little salt and cinnamon and used mostly milk and it was a hit!

I bought this solely because someone had mentioned that it’s used in Tierra Mia’s coffee. I didn’t actually expect it to taste similar, but it does, and it tastes sooo good. I do 2 servings, 5oz coffee and 5oz milk with about 30-32oz of ice, and 1 cup of the powder, and I get the perfect consistency and flavor. I would definitely purchase again.

This is definitely made for blended, Frappuccino style drinks. It's REALLY sweet when drank straight, and lacks cinnamon. I didn't catch that when I bought it (my mistake).Tastes like a thin melted milkshake, or like rumchata without rum, when made plain mixed. But i can easily see how it would be delicious blended as long as you added cinnamon.Bag is HUGE, so it's exceptional value.

If you have drank the authentic Horchata, you know that delicious cold and creamy drink made of milk, vanilla, and cinnamon, that tastes like a rice pudding in a liquid form. THIS TASTES NOTHING like it. It is very grainy and tastes like Cinnamon Toast Crunch, that is so sickening sweet, I couldn't drink more than two sips.NOW..all of that said, this brand (Big Train) is absolutely a delicious frappe mix company. Their other flavors , mint mocha, caramel, and mocha frappe mixes are FABULOUS!! Absolutely delicious!! I recommend those! They are exactly like the big coffee shop frappes!!!

I used to use this mix years ago in an old job and it used to have the tastiest vanilla/cinnamon flavor, very much like cinnamon toast crunch, but now it tastes different. Not sure if the ingredients changed but It also smells a lot more 'rice' like than it used to in powder form, but maybe it was changed to be more horchata-like.

I own a Coffee Cart. This stuff takes my latte to a whole new level. It is absolutely delicious and mixes well in milk.
