Rustom Hindi Blu Ray

Based on a true story of the 1950s when newly independent India is trying to buy its first aircraft carrier from Great Britain. The inspecting much-decorated Naval Officer (Akshay Kumar) discovers it is a rusting hulk and tries to prevent its purchase. The Ministry of the Navy (or the equivalent) from top down are involved in the humongous graft scam, and scheme their revenge by ensnaring the Officer's wife into an extramarital affair (a major disgrace in most conservative India in the 1950s). It is a gripping tale of patriotism, betrayal, forgiveness and redemption. Akshay Kumar is back (after infantile roles such as in "It's Entertain.ment") to true great acting as he defends himself in court against premeditated murder charges. Pavan Malhotra's Inspector Vincent Lobo too deserves the highest accolade for acting, empathy and sympathy for a suspected murderer/patriot.Overall great ensemble acting, great story line.Check Wikipedia for the true story. The Officer, his forgiven adulterous wife and three children ended up in Toronto, Canada, where he passed away in 2003.

Excellent film, full of suspense, epic scenery and story line and a fantastic finish. One of the best!

Poorly written, poorly acted, no suspense whatsoever, a huge disappointment. Akshay Kumar is a very capable actor and he got the National Award for Best Actor for this, but I have seen him give far better performances.The background score was overused and put in places where silence would have elicited more suspense and drama. Too much. Less is more sometimes.Esha Gupta's entire performance consisted of pouting with narrowed eyes and carrying a long cigarette holder. I don't think it was intended to be a comedy performance, but it was hilarious.The courtroom scenes too were unintentionally funny, when they could have been dramatic and suspenseful.I didn't hate it as it was quite a fun watch, but it was too long and too much of a mess. I was expecting so much more and it had the potential to be so much better.

Bollywood Film dachte das er in Deutscher Sprache ist aber leider nicht nur Hindi und mit Englischen Untertitel sehr schade habe ihn behalten aber leider noch nicht angeschaut da ich diese Sprache leider nicht Verstehe Schade
