My dog loves them but they are so expensive

This is a favorite treat for our dog. She usually gets one in the afternoon and will sit there waiting for it when she feels it is time. We have purchased this three times and will be getting it again. The quality of the product is good and our dog enjoys them.

I just looked at my Amazon history and saw that we have purchased this brand and type of chew stick 33 times since January 2016. I refuse to buy any other brand. They may seem pricy, but the bag is huge, lasts a long time, and is a better deal than the little bags you get at the grocery or pet store. They are super meaty - each stick is loaded with jerky. Our fur baby loves these! If I could give these 10 stars, I would.

I was so sorry to see the other product taken off the shelf, however, i did return it to the store after hearing about all the sick dogs.These were a special treat for a job well done- in a specific area of the service training I did with her, for myself.She is a rescued Border Collie/Aussie mix and so smart and easy to train, even after all the abuse she suffered before she came to me. She needed stability in her life, and the missing treats affected her. I know some would not understand this, but in training her, I saw it! Nothing took the place of these chicken wraps. I was AMAZED to find them and she is so happy to have them back!She digests them well, and for a dog with a finicky stomach, that is something hard to find.I would recommend these to anyone who wants to see a safe product, and an excited dog when the bag comes out.

Here's our story: We have two really sweet dogs we raised from puppies - a male Cocker Spaniel and a female King Charles Cavalier Spaniel, both about 4.5 years old. In the evenings we sit together for an hour or so (outside in good weather) while the dogs chew on 2-3 rawhides. They seem to "space out" in that time, content to be "with the pack." For years we could get Exer-Hides Rawhide Twists with Chicken Jerky. They were perfect. Both dogs ate the jerky, and then chewed down the rawhide, slowly and completely. Neither of our pups ever showed any distress or ill effects, but some folks complained that this product was dangerous and harmed their pets. Exer-Hides "chicken chewies," as our two knew them, are gone, alas!We have been on a hunt for a replacement, and wanted to share our dogs' history to assist anyone in a similar situation. There are many, comparable products, but we have found none so far that gives our dogs the same experience. That said, here's how we rate Kingdom Pets Chicken and Rawhide Jerky Wraps: We were thrilled at first because these resemble their beloved "chicken chewies" exactly. But, the rawhide portion is way too hard for our little pack. They eat the chicken and immediately abandon the hide and ask for another. If your dogs like to chew on harder bones, these might be great for you. We think they are very reasonably priced.

This is a great treat for my dogs. I had to start breaking off the bone because one of my dogs tooth broke. But they love this treat!
