Bestar Edge Queen Murphy Bed and 2 Storage Cabinets in White, Space-Saving Wall Bed with Storage for Guest Room

I am pleased with Bestar and their Murphy bed. It took a while to put together and there are many steps, but the bed and cabinets are good quality and very sturdy. I called Bestar to replace one piece that was slightly damaged and to order the Velcro strap and screw covers. Their customer service is what made me a huge fan! I did not have to send them pictures of the damaged piece—they actually believed me! They sent everything out to me right away at no charge! Super friendly and responsive and good quality. Bestar is a great company and I highly recommend them!

Granted i had professionals put it together and they said it was a bit of a challenge but the end result is fantastic. I love quality and design- trying to decide on mattress will enjoy this for many years.

This Murphy Bed is incredible. I did have it done by a professional locally. However, it will take much longer then 3 hours to assemble. If your person doesn't charge you more for going over, you need to pay him as it is definitely worthy it! I actually saw this bed just with different handles on HGTV. We are so pleased with it.

We used this Murphy bed to maximize our living space and still provide a bedroom for guest. The bed looks great and fits perfectly for our needs. WARNING: Make sure you mount the bed to the STUDS. The pressure of opening and closing the bed will pull it from the sheetrock. Yes we made that mistake!!!

The product is a fantastic idea and use of space in any room, however the assembly of the product is Extremely Time consuming and difficult! The items do not go together well and if you’re a person who pays attention to the details, this product will “Drive you crazy” because the finished product is not well. The wood cuts are “All off angle” and they do not fit well (look at pictures attached). Over all it’s something that at this current time I have to have but not sure how long it will last since the quality of the assembly is not desired!The front panels are just held with metal brackets and screws, but the wood is very thin and when finally done with the assembly, and lowered the bed, just getting off the floor while putting a small amount of pressure on the exposed panel, it fell and now is broken. The screws with brackets broke off the wood and now I’m left with a finished product missing one complete panel!For the cost of the item, definitely better going to IKEA and buying something else! Not something I would EVER buy again, especially at this price! Really sad because I really wanted to like this product!

After months and months of research I decided on this product.Delivery: Was scheduled for Friday morning but didn’t get delivered until the Monday. Called about 30 minutes before drop off, I’m happy I was in an area where I could get home for the signed delivery. No damage to the 5 boxes from delivery.Assemble: Well preparing for assemble we came to realize that the boxes was not numbered. So we opened every box to sort out which part was the first thing that needed to be assembled.I wish the boxes was labeled better and all the hardware wasn’t just thrown in the bags not labeled either. The instructions said to get screw with this number but in a bag thrown together it made assembly more tedious and longer with finding the hardware. So I ended up sorting the hardware out in zip lock bags and labeling those . I still have hardware left over that I can not figure out where it goes. I am hoping that I didn’t mess something.At the end I like the end result and the functionality of the Murphy bed even though it took me days to assemble. I feel like some pieces would have gone together easy it it was in a different order or better explained in the instructions.

My bed is installed and was shipped with all parts. It had no apparent damage to the boxes which I inspected before accepting delivery. When I removed the box with the bed panels one panel had a big chunk out of it. What is strange is there was a strip on top of where the chunk was taken out of it. I must assume that the product is made by machinery and no human saw the damage. I kept the panel and used wood glue to patch the damage then painted. When I got to the side cabinets both had minor scratches on them not done by shipment. One review said high quality material well made and I would say medium quality. There are exposed attachment screws that they did not supply enough covers for so it has a finished look of poor quality unless you get addition covers. It is a good looking piece in all but they could do better quality control before shipping.

Very pretty, perfect for our guest room. Very difficult to assemble. We have to hire someone for assembling and it took him like 7 hours!
