Route 66 (aka Will Rogers Highway or the Main Street of America) black leather bracelet with the instantly recognisable Route 66 sign in metal as its centrepiece. Route 66 dates back to 1926 although the road signs didn't appear until a year later - that's a slight difference from nowadays where we'd probably complain if the road opened before the signposts were installed but then, being one of the first major highways in the USA, I guess the road itself probably didn't care and there would have been less drivers anyway. The highway stretched 2,448 miles but has now (at least in theory) been replaced by the interstate system although because of its historic significance a number of States have kept its memory as either "Historic Route 66" or "State Route 66" depending on which state you're going through. And, in keeping with our times, some of the route has been dedicated to bikes (bicycles, not motor bikes!) Whether or not you've had a chance to travel on some of the route, this neat bracelet can remind you of its cultural significance. The bracelet itself is approximately 20cm long and the Route 66 sign is approximately 20mm tall. It makes a fantastic present - whether it's for yourself, a birthday, a gift or a costume party.
