I got this for my Jura coffee maker. We have very hard water that kills coffee makers at an alarming rate, so descaling is an absolute necessity. With regular descaling, I’ve managed to keep my coffee machine happy for over five years. A record for me.

I used to get a liquid de-scaler for my Breville Barista Express Espresso machine, but I like this product WAY better in tablet form. They last longer, they are much cheaper, and they don't leak in the mail as some people complain about. Not as messy as the liquid overall.

I think I had been using just a coffee machine cleaner rather than a descaler for a long time. The two are very different. I love that each one of these were individually sealed in their own wrapper inside of the container. They fizzed right up when I dropped them in the water. They seemed to do a good job on my Saeco automatic espresso machine. I will certainly buy these again when I run out, though I expect these 12 will last me for awhile. My maching tells me when it needs to be descaled, and with only 2 of us using it, I don't have to descale very often. Great convenient product!

i would wish that the tablets be more in line with the size of the Meile tablets. Those tablets are about 3 to 4 times the size of these ones. While these are far cheaper, they are also 3-4 x smaller....so i'm not sure it is such an amazing deal. They appear to work well, but it is hard to really tell in a coffee maker.also the packaging is far too excessive. Such a big plastic jar for small tablets that could easily be in a small eco friendly cardboard box

I use these tablets (one per cleaning) in my Breville as per Breville manual and they seem to be keeping my machine running smoothly. (I make around 12 shots of espresso per day in my Breville.)

I got this descaler for my espresso machine. makes the espresso taste as good as when it was new. Highly reccomend. I have a mr coffee espresso maker and they work on it you just have to cut the tablet into small pieces. i would reccomend running several cycles to get it all out. the tablets are tasteless after the fact. i ran the machine 3 times to get it all out. i used a dark cup to tell if the water was clear or not.

These tablets work much better than the Miele tablets I got for my coffee maker. Those just sit in the water. I have to bust them into powder first to get any benefit. But these tablets start fizzing immediately and create a very strong vinegar smell, that tells me they're doing what they're meant to do. And they're even less expensive than the miele tablets. After the first use, I observed a much stronger water flow in my coffee machine. Bravo.
