I have been searching high and low for a more comfortable pillow, purchasing many pillows over the years. I came across this one and decided to give it a try. I knew that solid memory foam pillows simply did not work for me--the support they offered was far too firm, and I was looking for a pillow that was soft on top, with some firmness within. I thought maybe the shredded memory foam would offer that combination.Unfortunately, it's also too firm for me. (Pillows are very much a "Goldilocks" kind of purchase--either too firm, too soft, or just right!) I tried it a few nights with the full amount of foam, which was WAY too firm (so much so that it hurt my neck). However, one great feature of this pillow is that it's adjustable, so for the week following, I took out more foam each night, trying to reach the right soft/firm combination, until it had about half the shredded foam inside that it came with. At that point, there was not enough foam to spread evenly through the pillow, and yet it still managed to be firm. So, unfortunately, this did not work for me, but it might offer the right support for someone else. The shredded foam does offer a more "cushy" feel than a solid memory foam product, so if someone wants a pillow that is somewhat softer than that, but not too much so, this one could be worth a try. Plus, as mentioned, the adjustability is a plus.(Side note: For what it's worth, after this pillow, I purchased the standard pillow from Casper, and that did the trick for me. In the Casper pillow, I finally found the soft/firm combo I was looking for--cushy enough for your head to sink into softness, but firm enough to support your neck in different sleeping positions. Hoping that it lasts for at least a year or two. If so, even though it's pricey, I'll go with a Casper pillow from now on.)

Like many of you potential customers out there that are on the fence in making the choice to buy or not buy let me tell you right now BUY!! I am a 35 year old who is a combat veteran and suffers from various head and neck problems. I have yet to find a pillow that allows me a restless free sleep till I came across this pillow. I like many of you right now are skeptical of many products on the net and even more skeptical of the reviews. I almost never write a review on any product I buy because I would rather read a book or spend the time with my wife or dogs. In this case I had to write something because for years I have not been getting a good sleep mostly because the pain I continue to feel in my neck. I tried this pillow out for 2 days and already feel a difference in the pain level in my neck. I accept the fact all the pain will never go away but from a person who hates taking pain medication and who tries alternative pain management this pillow helps me a whole lot. The only two items I question or am curious about is if they offer a twin size and the tree they say they plant with each purchase is there a way to verify this?

Doesn’t matter what position I sleep in, it is wonderful all the way around. Officially best pillow I ever bought in my entire life. I bought this pillow because my husband continue to steal my bamboo pillow. At the time he didn’t want to get one for himself and settled for a $10 Walmart pillow, saying it was the best deal ever. Later down the road, my husband started stealing my bamboo pillow, I figured you know what both pillows still give me neck pain no matter what I do, bamboo pillow is a great brand however, it is a lot harder on my neck and shoulders. For my husband the bamboo pillow is a match made in heaven, however, this pillow is soft and supple. If you’re looking for a softer pillow that gives you the perfect amount of neck and shoulder support this is exactly what you’re looking for, it is a very soft pillow but not so soft that your head sinks in.

I am really disappointed. This pillow had such great reviews and I was so excited to try it. First night it was way too fluffy, so I pulled out some of the foam (which is super messy btw), then put it back in after a couple nights, but in the end, no matter what I did, it was like sleeping on a brick. I tried many different combinations of fluff, but none worked. I slept on this for about 3 weeks, so I gave myself a lot of time to try it. I really wanted it to be good, and I gave it a good amount of time to impress me.It conforms to your head, yes, but it compacts underneath it and it is simply hard. NOT GOOD for stomach sleepers, and only okay for side sleepers. I tried sleeping on my back with it as well, and was so uncomfortable I ended up throwing it on the floor and going back to my old crappy pillows (that were somehow still better than this). I'm super bummed.UPDATE: I am going to return this pillow because it causes such terrible neck and shoulder pain I can hardly move throughout the day. I am now unable to turn my head left or right, and I can't look up. I am really sad because everyone else loves this pillow, but it really just sucks.Negatives:- Really messy if you want to adjust the fluff-not soft-extremely heavy (even with fluff taken out)-VERY hot- smells bad, even after 3 weeks and a few rounds in the dryer-okay for maybe an under the knee pillow, but even there it just flattened out and made me hot.Positives:- The fluff does come out- the pillowcase unzips and would be easy to washI wish that it would've been good, but it wasn't.
