Does it work for Photography? Does it tell me the right aperture in F and shuttle speed?

No, while it measures light levels, it doesn’t convert them for photo, cine, or video use. I use them to balance light on video shoots, but not determine settings.

Par is the dia. of a lamp in 1/8" s of an inch. Par38 = 4 3/4".

Is this good for led plant lights in blue/red colour? I understand most lux meters are not meant for the narrow frequency band in leds.

The lux meter HP-881D use for measure Red colour will be fine, measure blue colour date will low ( measure should without filter ) because we calibrate depend on white LED light.

Didn’t work

I bought this for work. It would not even switch on. Tried different batteries but it still would not switch on. I have sent it back. I have also contacted the company who say they have no record of the purchase.
