Used product
The box was missing 2 pieces of chalk. The lines had tape in them where someone used them. Clearly used product. There were also some personal papers in the box from whoever returned them

Just use a tape measure or get a real kit
Would be easier to just use a tape measure and make dashes. The string has so much stretch to it so you never really know how tight to pull. If you want a better layout use one of foldout kits.

Great idea easy to use
Probably one of the best 8 bucks I've spent. I was able to mark out the lines for the kids in my neighborhood in 15 mins.

Jury still out
I purchased this because we are getting a basketball hoop. The hoop hasn't arrived yet, but I am excited to see how this works...and even more excited to see if my kids can do it instead of me. I love that it just uses sidewalk chalk instead of a paint pen. Easy to fix if you make a mistake. I will update my review once the basketball is set up.

Nothing fancy, chalk marking kit.
This was perfect for what I needed. I wanted markings for a basketball court that would wash away after use. We did have to reapply the chalk after several days of use, but it was easy to do, and the kit made it easy to mark the court accurately
