It was an unexpected delight to find an incense burner that complements the coastal theme in my living room. And I agree with the other reviewers who commented on the quality and detail of this little beauty. It's a work of art, a conversation piece, and works perfectly holding sticks and neatly catching falling ashes in the tail.

Incense sticks slant slightly off the mermaid so I always keep a wet napkin under to catch ashes then just toss the napkin out. Otherwise, she does the job :) I’m gentle with her. Had her for a year so far, placed on my altar and she’s not going anywhere anytime soon. If the spirit is happy with her then I’m happy :)

Looks beautiful! Wonderful for a Christmas present. I just wish whoever painted it made her cheeks less blushes. Almost every person who has seen it commented on how much blush she has. Once I repaint the face she will be a+

everyone who sees it ask me about it it catches my small insence wish it was longer to catch my bigger insence still looking for that one but this one is nice for the smaller ones beautiful in person very vivid colors and detail love it

The piece is very pretty, and is long enough to catch. However, they seem to not test and see if the fish, that holds the stick, is angled correctly. Mine is slightly off angle, so I have to have something to catch the ashes until it gets to the end
