After coming home from a vacation once, I noticed my cat sitter made a felt ball out of my cats fur, and he LOVED batting it around the house. So I wanted to find something I could scatter around the house that didn't involve matting together his sheddings...I love that they don't make the terrible skidding noise plastic toys make on the hardwood. And NO bells to hear in the middle of the night.My cat highly recommends these and so do I!

Our cats love knocking these balls around, or chasing them when we play "bowling." One cat even carries one around in her mouth, knocking it down the stairs, then running to the bottom to catch it and carry back upstairs. One of the balls got a little fuzzy, but I just snipped off the fuzz, and it's good to go.

Throwing these down the length of my hallway makes for great kitty playtime.

Ordered these for my cat hoping they would be a little bigger in diameter than most cat toys so they wouldn't roll under the furniture and be lost. That was not the case although they are bigger than the standard cat ball. They're slightly bigger than a ping pong ball but not nearly as big as a tennis ball. We live in a condo above the first floor so having toys that roll quietly is a must for being a good neighbor. The colors stand out so I can spot them easily under furniture. I can step on them without them flattening one bit nor losing their shape, plus no cursing from pain! They are just like a smaller version of the wool laundry balls if those are familiar, but they're lighter in weight. They seem to be made to last a good long time.

These wool balls are nice and hard. I got for the dogs as well as the cats. They are much better to throw around in the house for the dog than other toys. Good quality and nice colours.
