VZCY Side Window Sun Visor Extenders for 07 -14 (Not Trucks or Cargo Vans)

As you can see from the picture, this item couldn't be simpler: just a cut piece of beige plastic (available in grey also) & an elastic band to hold it to your visor. You simply stretch the elastic band over your sun visor & slide the plastic piece under it. Then when you swing your sun visor to the side, you can easily slide out the extender to block more sun.Not everyone needs this product, but if your car is stuck with short factory sun visors, it's well worth the cost. I use these on my VW New Beetle, which has a particularly bad combination of short sun visors and long front windows.One hint: don't put the elastic band in the middle of your visor. Instead, put it about 1/3 the way from the end. This lets you slide out the extender further.Finally, if you buy these you may want to add an extra  set of elastic bands  to your order. I've found that using two elastic bands instead of only one keeps you from accidentally sliding the extender out so far that it falls off; also keeps the extender from sagging and letting sunlight sneak in above it.

As anyone who had ever driven a Mini during the day knows, the visors are a joke. I kept looking for some sort of visor extenders but initially avoided purchasing these because they seemed so cheap and simplistic in quality. I was wrong though; in this case keeping it simple worked well for me. Also, visormates (or whoever the distributor is here through Amazon) has excellent customer service. They followed up with me by email after my purchase to make sure they had the correct model of car and interior color before they mailed me the visor extenders. Great and inexpensive little product to keep that annoying sun from burning half your face off while driving.

These are okay but there should be a device to clamp on to the existing visor that allows this type of sun protection from shortened car visors. Some model cars and SUVs are equipped with extenders, for the sun visors, but some do not. These are a make shift for lack of those extenders. They are not perfect but are better than nothing to block the sun from the exposed corners of shortened car sun visors. These could be made better if they were in a plastic frame that snapped onto the existing sun visor and slid easily back and forth. However, these are just a rectangular piece of plastic held in place with wide elastic bands that are hard to slide and keep in place while sliding them out to extend along the entire window. I will continue to use them until some bright person invents my idea of better designed sun visor extenders.

This little inexpensive and simple sun visor extension is perfect. My VW Jetta sport wagon does not have its own extension on the sun visor. I'm not 6 feet tall and so the sun gets in my eyes when on my left. This little plastic sliding visor extension is so simple, and perfect and does the job for $10 you just can't be without one. the set comes with 2, one for each side, but I like using both of the elastics on my side, holding the visor extension snug to the visor when not in use. I'll probably just buy another set to get matching elastic for the other side, or go buy some additional elastic for the other side. It is meant to be used with just one piece of elastic. This is a great product, great idea and so very simple. Get yours today, don't go without one for another minute.con: should come with 4-elastic slider holders, not 2

Product: A+. These things are solid. The bands that hold the visor in the "out" position, and when not in use, are very strong and durable. The visor itself is a nice clean thick plastic. It slides in and out easily. I'd definitely buy more of these. But the real gem is Visormates' amazing customer service…Service: A+ and a Gold Star! After I ordered they emailed to confirm my car model. However, I inadvertently purchased the wrong color on Amazon and requested a different color. Within minutes they responded and guaranteed the right color for me. Sure enough the visor arrived quickly, in the right color. I saw the packing slip had included a special note of the color change. These guys are awesome.

I was a little disappointed with this purchase. When I ordered it, I received an email from the seller asking me what make and model my car was. I immediately emailed them back with the info - and within 2 seconds, (no lie) they emailed me back to let me know my visors had shipped.Then when I received them, they were for a different model of car - I drive a Ford Fusion but received the product for a Ford Focus. I don't really think that made a difference though because my rear view mirror is set back close to the windshield. The visors cover my rear view mirror but they block the sun - so I can't complain.

They should be standard equipment in all cars!! I really need the extra shade and this does the trick. They are good quality - I have been using mine for over a year with no problem. Today I ordered a set for a friend and got an extra set of straps. This company was so thorough that they contacted me to ask the make and model of the car to make sure I ordered the right set. They also confirmed the color of straps I needed. Then they gave me a credit back on part of the shipping. Good people to work with. Highly recommend the product and company!!

I love these Visormates! I got some initially for my Juke, got some for my dad's Escape and now have them for my company car (Nissan Versa). Dad loves them like I do--they are easy to install and easy to adjust. Driving in the hot and very bright Phoenix sun, these are so helpful in saving my eyes from the brightness and glare. Before they send them, Visormates send an email to you asking what make/model/year of your vehicle and what color you want and will get it for you if available. Great company and great product!
