The headline says it all. Build quality and finish are superb, so looks tremendous. If you're throwing something small in then no problem, so ideal for any room in the house other than the kitchen. But there is no pedal to open the steel cover flap. So if you are doing anything remotely complex—like scraping food off a plate—you have to put everything down, take the lid off and put it on the floor, put what you want in the bin, then put the lid back on.I love the look of the thing. But knowing what I know about it now, I would never have bought it.
