The Seven Kings of Jinn

Samantha Young creates an amazing new world in The Seven Kings of Jinn. Ari has been in love with Charlie for years, but has never told him. She got close, but then his brother died and he changed. Now she struggles to hold on to her relationship with him while finishing up school. When she makes a wish to a genie her friend brought to her 18th birthday party, everything changes. Now Ari has to figure out a whole new world with only her jinn bodyguard for protection. This book was fabulous and I can’t wait to dive into the next book in the series!

This is a genre that isn't really in my demographic, but with that being said, it didn't stop me from falling in love with it.The story is what drew me in. It started off with Ari going through a typical teenage angst about her childhood best friend that she secretly loves.But Samantha had other plans for our characters.The characters were great because the story was great. Ari and Charlie drew me in but Jai, he just intensified the plot even more.I can't wait to see what happens next.

This author has be addicted to these chsraters. This was a well written story with great charaters. Highly recommended

Love this book! Always a good read. I can reread it over and over. And Jai? Sigh. Need more! Loving the newness!

This is my honest review.I gotta admit, I don't know if I've read a book about jinn/genies. If I have, it was only 1 or 2 and they are not standing out in my mind, so reading about this subject was a breath of fresh air! I liked how we learned about this new world, these new beings, with Ari. She definitely caught on fast when she realized she wasn't having a crazy dream, and she adapted to it very easily. Just shows how powerful she's going to be soon.I am so on board for Team Jai. I really hope things progress with those two soon in the next book, and Charlie can just go away. I didn't like him from the beginning and after his poor choice, I still really don't like him. But Jai - I loved him from the moment we got his viewpoint and it only grew from there.This storyline is really intriguing to me and I'm really excited to see what else is going to come soon! I know The Seven Kings of Jinn was a re-release, so I could try to find the past novels and read them, but I'm going to wait for the new, updated novels in this series to enjoy all of the changes that have been made. Can't wait for more!
