What's the difference px500 and px500-a?

Thank you for your interest in Frizzlife Tankless Reverse Osmosis system. The main difference is the 3rd filter stage. The PX500 uses general carbon filter that would not raise TDS value and could polish the water taste. The PX500-A uses alkaline/remineralized post filter which could restore minerals, adjust pH level of the system and further polish the water taste.

Can it be used with hard water?

Yes, with 0.0001 micron filtration accuracy, the system could remove over 94% of TDS from water, including the hardness. However, the large particles in hard water may block the system very easily. To prolong the service life of the filters, we would highly recommend you to install a pre-filter or water softener before the RO system. Or you are suggested to change the 1st stage of the system more frequently

Question 3

What are the actual unit dimensions? My 36" cabinet only has 7.5" from side wall to drain. Disposal side is even less.

Question 4

What is the thread length of the faucet? Do you provide extended stem for the faucet if it is not long enough for my granite?

Hi, thanks for inquiring with us. The unit come with a 4.5" long stem for the faucet, If your countertop is thicker than 1.5 inch. Please use a pliers to replace the longer stem for the faucet.
