Just short of that home made taste, but good!
Really great chili, considering it comes from a can. Not as good as home cooked BUT, much better than any other canned chili that I have EVER had before. I'd buy it again, especially if the price goes down a little bit. The Country Brand was much more mild than the other Stagg chili that I have had before so TAKE NOTE, if you want something MILD, this one is for you.

Best tasting canned chili currently available on the US market IMHO
As far as canned chili goes, this is as good as you're going to get. It's WAY better than Hormels and even better than Wendys. I took a star off because it's too wet, which is a personal preference because I don't like crackers in my chili but if you do, it's probably perfect. This one has the best most common "chili flavor" as you expect. It's not hot at all, you could feed it to a baby and not worry.

Great flavor. Not very thick, kinda like a soup.
Wish it was thicker. Kinda wattery. Great flavor..may use as a base and ad sausage and more beans. Flavor to taste. It has its own great flavor. Just not very thick....

My Favorite Chili
I love love love this particular flavor of stag chili. It reminds me of the chili my grandmother used to make when I was a child. It’s just the best comfort food ever. I serve it over Fritos with grated cheese and sour cream on top. We call it Frito pie. My whole family loves it. Definitely not too spicy for children.

Favorite Chili that is canned.
This is my favorite Brand and flavor of canned chili - hands down. Lots of meat, plenty of veggies and not too hot.
