Dangerous
This product did not feel safe enough to put in my birds cage. The edge of the mirror was extremely sharp which concerned me.

Ha ha, Can't eat this one bird!
Our bird eats anything that is put in the cage. The last mirror had chips and nicks in the first day. Come on bird, that's glass, it can't be good for you. So here comes this stainless steel beauty. What I am calling his prison mirror. He keeps trying, but it's steel bird. Good luck. This went in fast and is pretty reflective for a steel mirror. The most important thing is that I have eliminated glass from the birds diet.

Affordable addition to any bird cage
Bought one of these for a cockatiel, a rescued starling (7 1/2 yrs old now), and a pineapple conure. The cockatiel, already quite taken with a smaller mirrored toy in his cage, LOVES this item. The assembly is super-easy, the perch sturdy, with knobbily places that help the bird be more sure-footed. The mirror itselfis stainless steel, easy to wipe clean despite some haze in the actual image of the bird mirrored back to him.The rescued starling stops by, but is not so enamored of the bird in the mirror as the cockatiel (who whistles and chatters up a storm at intervals)--so glad it's providing a "virtual" companionship--having a "friend" always available since the adopted bird is alone for now.The pineapple conure does see his image from the other side of the cage, but does not seem to care about interacting with it.I just think the materials, design and concept can't be beat for the price, and enjoyment it affords birds.

It’s not a real mirror but branch is nice
Well the mirror is thick and sturdy however it’s like looking at the bottom of a pot. It’s not a mirror. It makes a fuzzy image. A mirror was the main reason I got this so I have to return it. The branch piece was nice. That’s why I gave this at least two stars. The branch alone I would’ve given four or five stars for. Some of the knobs were pronounced but its a nice light weight and the look was good. A little bit on the thicker side but maybe he would have liked it. But since I’m returning I’ll never know
