This power supply replaces the original 12V 5A power supply for an old Night Owl security camera system. It runs the DVR and has the correct barrel plug. There is a blue power indicator light on the box. It is working so far.

I've purchased a few of these power supplies over the last couple of years. I've never had one fail and they have been really solid. I use this one to control the speed of fans that I have in a home purifier. it just works well. The voltage setting is difficult to get just perfect because the knob is very small. it is hard to get like 5.00 volts DC perfect. I don't need that much precision in what I'm doing so if I turn the knob and it's 4.90 or 5.24 it doesn't affect what I'm doing. so with a caveat that it's difficult to set a very precise voltage, this unit works really well for variable speed or prototyping type work. I'm sure I'll buy more of these in the future because they work so well and are relatively inexpensive.

worked great for some extra lights i had laying around! would definitely recommend. the cord isn’t super long, but if you’re okay with your lights starting a little lower, it’s perfect!

This was purchased as a replacement PSU for a Sophos XG115 to be run with 3rd party firmware. This power supply did power the unit, but I had stability issues, with it locking up and requiring a power cycle to get working again. After checking all settings, I became suspicious it may be from the PSU output being too noisy, or susceptible to power transients. I purchased a different brand of similar spec'd power supply and have been using it without issue. I'm keeping the unit anyways, as I have a few other devices that can use 12v input over 3 amps for charging, and charging can tolerate noisy input better than a cpu can.

The product was the correct product and work great

I used this power supply to operate an automotive windshield wiper motor for a project I was working on. The supply has been working well since I purchased it and I have moved it around between projects. Currently it is running an audio amplifier. So regular is my use that I was able to walk over 4 feet and unplug it to take the attached photo. I would buy this again

Nice, slight standard deviation on cord. The C13 receptacle is slightly shorter than the standard (the recess is plugs into) as is the female C13 plug conector. This is not an issue when using the supplied cord (perfect match), but I had a problem when I used a standard conforming 12" C13 cable. 5* is reserved for perfection, hence the 4* review. I would not hesitate to buy this again.

Decent quality nice packaging getting 12.5 with no load and 12.5 with load although I’m not asking much from it powering a single fan also been checking it for heat has barely gotten warm on the bottom and has remained that way purchased 2 and will probably grab another 2 for future projects thanks
