Toebox is too small, even on 3E width... Welt stitching coming undone.
I typically wear a 9.5 2E. My last pair of Thorogood loggers were a 9.5 3E and fit perfectly. The toebox on these is too small and pushes against my toes on the outside of my feet. They also really hurt my ankles, but I figure that would get better after the break-in period. Other than that they seem to be the same quality materials as my last pair of Thorogood loggers that lasted me for 3 years. With them being a 3E the toebox should've been bigger, though. I think a 10 would've been too big, and with them being sized wider than what I typically wear this shouldn't have been a problem. I should've went with my instinct and bought the Chippewa Super Loggers, but I loved my last pair (since discontinued) so much that I stuck with Thorogood. I really expected better from Thorogood.*Update* after only a couple of days some of the stitching has come out of the welt. If you look closely you can see a few stitches missing in the photo. I've contacted the seller about a return, but the policy states they must be new with tags to return. I'm hoping I'm not stuck with a $300 pair of defective boots.*Update* seller issued a refund for the defect. Good seller. I've never had a problem with Thorogood before. Hopefully this was just a fluke. I'd hate to think their QC guys were getting lazy.

More Than Good Enough
No issues with these new Thorogood logger work boots. I took a HUGH chance, given the price of these boots, by veering away from my life-long favorite Chippewa Super Logger (style #25405) work boots I have worn for years and years. I thought I would give these Thorogood loggers a try. They do seem to run true-to-size so no issues there. They are comfortable so that isn't a problem either. However they do require some 'break-in' time to become more comfortable. At first, they were hurting my upper ankles, around the outsides of my ankles. I solved this by lacing them loosely until I got to the last/upper lacing and then tied them as tight as I normally would. That lessened the 'pressure' on my outer ankles as I wore these throughout each work day. After a month or so, they are to the point now where I can just throw them on and go. So, in short, I don't regret giving these Thorogood Logger boots a try. But they won't stop me from purchasing my life-long favorite Chippewa Super Logger (style #25405) boots again either. No regrets. But I still prefer Chippewa Super Logger #25405 over ANY logger boot I've ever bought.

Great boot!
I love these boots. Quality leather, American Made, great fit, good looking boot! I’ve been wearing them a couple of months now and the foot felt great from the start. A high calf boot takes longer to break In.

Please don’t stop making these loggers
OMG! I finally found a comparable pair of Thoroughgood boots to the ones I have worn for years. Best boots ever made. Buy 1/2 size up if you work outside in temperatures below freezing, to accommodate socks.

Disappointed.
These boots were great the first few months. I wear them 5 days a week. The boot has separated from the base section, I have never had this issue with boots before. I’m hoping they offer some sort of warranty, I’ve only had them for 9 months!

Worth the price
Upgraded from Carolinas and I’m never buying another brand, these are the most well built boots I’ve owned and the tread is perfect for snow ice and mud

Well made boots.
A bit early to tell, but the boots are true to size, appear to be well made, and are more comfortable out of the box than my 2 year old Ariats I was using. I will update the review after a few months of use.

Worth every penny
I love the boots, as a truck driver they are worth every penny. They took about two days to break in but they slip on like a dream. The yard where I park my truck has pot holes and puddles everywhere and the waterproof feature never fails to keep my work socks dry.
