My wife and I we're looking to replace our crystal salt and pepper shakers (only the pepper was able to grind). We came across this set and it was a bit larger then the one's we had (which was nice as we hate refilling small units). The 'Diamond Pattern Glass' enables you to tell which spice is in which unit. The Grinders from Home EC arrived quickly and I read the cleaning instructions and proceeded to clean both units. Upon inspection I noticed they were missing a 'nylon washer'. I contacted "customer happiness" as instructed inside the box. They were very kind and swift in sending not just 'nylon washers' but another unit without cost. Very inpressed that they support their product like this. We have used the grinders with peppercorns and salt crystals. Setting the size of the grind is easily accomplished by turning the adjustment knob to the size grind for the spice you use. When using the grinder, simply pop the top cap off the grinder, grind your spice(s) over the food you are spicing up and done. Replace the cap to show off your grinder at the table. If this size of the product seems too tall they have a smaller set. I recommend this product. Enjoy

While looking for non-plastic salt and pepper grinders found this set at a very good price. If you’re looking for a grinder set that doesn’t produce micro plastics, these while not 100% plastic free, have all the moving parts made out of hardened ceramic. The ceramic is below the plastic nut holding the grind assembly in place. For the price at least this set is a step in the right direction.The grind quality out of the box is great and there is also adjustments for the grind size with good functionality. The feel is one of durable long lasting kitchen and table accessories that will be around for a long time. Great value for the price.

I seldom…seldom give 5 stars, but…We’ve used these for a couple months now and really like them. The grinders continue to work (we’ve been disgusted with the brevity of other brands) and ground salt is very nice for producing lots of effect with less material. I’m not one who concerns himself with salt intake, but if you are, here’s a possible solution…Without doubt, would buy these again, for ourselves or as gifts.

This grinds a little finer than I would like, but it works well.

I have ordered a couple of items from this company. They are high quality and perform as they should, I did encounter a problem with one item and contacted the seller… boy was I surprised. I received an email the same day (a weekend) and the problem was solved by Monday. This company really stands behind the quality of their goods. There are not enough words to say about their integrity. 5 stars all the way!!!

Wow! These are FANTASTIC IN SO MANY WAYS! BEST GRINDERS I'VE HAVE EVER BOUGHT (and I've bought DOZENS over the years)!Because the grinders are on the TOP, there's NO RESIDUAL SPICES LEFT ON THE COUNTER!!! WITH THE LIDS, THEY HAVE A GREAT APPEARANCE ON YOUR COUNTER OR DINIG TABLE!! Wish I could rate them higher than a 5 star! They're a definite 10!!

We have used one of these for salt for a while, and I just bought one to replace our failing pepper one. It is not a luxury model, but still gets five stars because it has a ceramic grinder, a glass container, a lid, and does what it promises to do: provide various grinds of spices. I also like that it seems to be durable.

Excellent pepper grinder. Probably one of my best purchases. It grinds from fine to coarse depending on your needs. It is adjustable with a little mechanism on the grinding wheel. Likewise, it is nice enough that I would give it as a gift. It does a splendid job of grinding the hard peppercorns I have, and I love that it finely grinds my pepper. It is made of glass and metal and even comes with a lid to put back over the grinder when you are done using it. Overall, this is a very good value for the price, and it feels like it is going to hold up where the others I have purchased have not.
