VAULTEK VS20i Biometric Handgun Bluetooth 2.0 Smart Safe Pistol Safe with Auto-Open Lid and Rechargeable Battery (Biometric)

I own 3 biometric safes from other manufacturers, and I have been disappointed with all of them. Common problems with others I've tried include slow and inaccurate bio scans, weak latches, poor power management, and similar issurs. THIS SAFE DOES ALL THIS THE RIGHT WAY! It has 2 secure latches, no gaps in the armor, and no exposed hinges. It gets a fast finger read 9/10 (or better) times QUICKLY and opens. Unlike some other safes, you can mount it easily without separate adapters or kits too...it even comes with screws. Its battery lasts long, recharges, and IT INCLUDES A WALL ADAPTER for continuous charge! The manual is VERY well written too. Perfect size for standard handgun. The greatest issue I've had with other safes is reliable power due to weakening batteries and/or no primary wall power option....I love this safe! Heck, it even tells you the battery level every time you use it anyway. Hands down the last model of safe I'll ever buy, and I'm going to get a second one of these. It even looks cool...buy this safe!

If you need your pistol in the middle of the night, you want to wake up and have the weapon instantly appear in your hand, locked and loaded. Since that is impossible, the Vaultek VS20i might be the next best thing. The biometric fingerprint has a delay - it's not gonna work instantly. But opening with your fingerprint will be faster than punching the numeric keypad. The best feature that this purchase offers is keeping my 15 month old granddaughter from getting access to the weapon.This pistol vault is expensive. But it is well made, heavy, and hopefully reliable.

It is on the smaller side, so it will fit two small pistols and maybe on extra mag depending on the sizes, or it can comfortably fit one average pistol and 2 mags. The build quality is excellent. The fingerprint reader seems to work extremely well, and the cause automatically pops open when you use it, which is very nice. There is a light inside as well so you arent fumbling around in the dark. It's a perfect bedside gun case, it will keep kids and others out, while giving you easy and quick access should you ever need it

This vaultek is great. I’ve been using mine now for about 4 months on one charge and the battery life is still at 60%. I wanted something quick and safe at the same time. Occasionally the biometric finger scanner doesn’t work on the first try. I’ve noticed that it reads my thumb the best, but you can store over 10 different fingers on it. I’d say it’s a 90% success rate for opening with the first scan. If you need quick access and want to keep others in the house safe, this is a great choice.

I like how many different options there is to open the safe, the safe seems very well built

Works great, no issues and worth the money. I’d own several more if they were more affordable.

This is a quality safe. Instructions are good as well as the APP so far. I highly recommend this product.

This is an awesome unit. We've had it for probably two years and never a problem. Recognizes my fingerprint 9 times out of 10, or better, it's rare for me to get a failed read, and then it's usually dust or something on the reader. It helps to have multiple "takes" of the same finger, different angles and pressures. So pleased, I am buying another Vaultek product, the slider, for the office. The Vaultek units are not cheap, but this one is performing to my satisfaction.
