Perfect!
Got one just before this, another brand/seller that was a little less expensive and it was awful. So in comparison this ticks all the boxes.Got the black classic seat whilst on sale, and we're quite impressed. Sturdy, fits perfectly, looks good and very comfortable. Really easy to install. Will keep an eye on it though, if it doesn't live up to its initial review, I'll be back to change/update

Briliant.
Finally a lovely toilet seat. Looks quality. Fits well. Doesn’t move. Great size. I’m really happy with this purchase. If you’re struggling to find a nice quality toilet seat, give this one a go.

Looks good
This seems decent quality. It's sturdy and solid feeling. I went for black as the white ones tend to discolour/yellow quite quickly. The shiny black finish does show up fingerprints though, I would have preferred a matte finish but it does look nice. The only issue I had was the nut key provided didn't actually fit. Luckily I'd kept the one from my old toilet seat which did the trick just fine. Other than that it was quick and easy to install for someone who's not particularly handy. Time will tell if it holds up longer than previous seats I've had.

If you sit for longer periods or prefer comfort over function, choose the Classic model
I bought and compared the Soft Close model and the Classic model side by side, and while both have their strengths, the Classic is more comfortable to sit on. It’s thicker, feels more solid, and the curved edges give it a sleeker, more refined appearance. The Soft Close model, though functional, has a flatter top on the seat with sharper edges that can press into the thighs, causing discomfort and even cramped legs over time. In contrast, the Classic's beautifully rounded / curved edge seat top design feels more ergonomic, it’s gentler on the thighs and seems to support better circulation. It feels kinder to the body overall and seems to be made with long-term comfort in mind. I didn’t expect such a small detail to make such a big difference, but after sitting for long periods, it really does. I hope this helps anyone deciding between the two, as I originally assumed the only difference was the soft-close feature.

Not suitable for all toilets
The description provides you with dimensions but with one important one missing. That the distance between the seat in it's open position and the cistern. My cistern is curved that means when the seat is in its upright, open, the the seat is not at 90deg and so the seat closes by it's self. Not ideal.Fitting is easy and the positioning is fairly flexible. Hinges are of good quality as the seat looks quite smart.

Really good quality but extremely heavy
I can’t fault it on quality and design. It’s really great. My problem is that’s it’s extremely heavy for me. It’s a me problem as I’m disabled by an energy limiting illness. Lifting the lid multiple times a day might prove too much. Even worse when you have to lift both parts for cleaning. I had absolutely no idea loo seats can be this heavy so it never occurred to me to check the weight before purchase. Seems like many are just as heavy but there are some also wooden that are a little lighter and I wish I had got one of those instead. I wish I had returned this one instead of having it installed. I obviously can’t return it now it’s been installed and used. It’s my fault. I may have to replace it again and what I paid for this one is lost. A little gutted and upset with myself. Also when both parts are up, they won’t stay up. My cistern isn’t curved. I think this will only stay up when both parts can go beyond 90 degrees backwards. Will be a problem for men or when cleaning.
