Good for stock removal, not very surgical though.
Absolute weapon for making Man Glitter. Chews its way through the wood very quickly. I used to make spikes on a 3" square PAR timber to use as stakes. Very efficient at stock removal but not very easy to use delicately. Also has a tendance to grab so take care when using to prevent injury. NO obvious wear after a number of stakes so I think it will last a long time. Good value.

Brutal efficient excellent
Bought this after cutting down a tree as close to ground level as I could with a chainsaw, stump needed to be below ground level ready for weed barrier and decorative stone, this it took care of it in around 15 minutes, this is a serious dangerous fabulous tool, if you are not 100% cool with grinders maybe you should bribe a friend that is, I wore a chainsaw face shield and working at ground level heavy rigger boots so at least if i got caught out there would be enough leg left to graft to. A smaller stump I tackled was slightly rotten so clogged the disc a few times but a quick tickle with a wire brush followed by your best Freddy Krueger laugh and its back to work,I have over 40 years in metalwork and have never fitted a side handle to a small grinder in my life, this beast needs one fitted make no mistake, if it snags it kicks hard, great tool for my needs

Sanding disc
Useful if you needs to remove a large amount of material quickly. Used it to shape wood and have also used it to remove small tree stumps.

WAY better than expected!
I was after a disc that would be capable of removing some decent amounts of hardwood. I make small Daiza for mounting stones on and wanted a tool that would be able to shift wood quickly and effortlessly. I've tried this on several exotic hardwoods that I am in possession of and frankly, I was amazed how effortlessly the wood was removed. I'm using the 115 version on a Milwaulkie grinder. Tried on several VERY hardwoods and in every scenario it ripped the wood out leaving a pleasing finish for eventual fine-tuning with other machines. So, two things I do not know yet. 1. How long it stays sharp, and 2. How 'gunged' up the disc might get if the wood is not 100% dry. A few little bits stayed on but all I did was brush them off. I was going to take the plunge and go for a Kutzall at roughly £55. Then I thought 'just how much will I do with it?' Back in the employed days money wasn't tight like it is now in retirement. I'd go for known makes and well, who knows if I'd gone for a cheaper version I might have been just as happy. Yep, if you have any doubts, don't; it is a fabulous wood remover. WEAR goggles and be careful. CONS? Absolutely none.

Brutal blades
Brutally sharp even just getting it from the box but we used it to smooth off pallet edges for a play area and eats the wood easy to use and makes the pallets safer and more durable with it's perfectly functional blades so a good value for money

Good But Be Careful
I have use various power tools for over 40 years, Tables Saws, Chop Saws, Routers, Drills Etc, Using this for first time was certainly an experience, I wore eye protection, ear protection, Leather gauntlets, what i didnt notice was a loose thread on the glove, one single thread, while spinning at full speed the wheel snagged a single thread, before i even had time to react, my hand was pulled into the tool, even though the grinder stopped at the moment my knuckles hit the wheel the damage was done, the full inside of my middle finger was ripped away, healing will be long time as there is no sking left to sew together,, a facebook member of a group i belong to said "should have used the guard!" but if i had used it, my hand would have been wedged between disc and guard, im not saying dont buy, i am just saying, please be careful, its a very powerful tool that doesnt need a lot of pressure on it

The Bone Hunter
I have named this tool 'The Bone Hunter' it is a fantastic thing for hogging off material quickly, but you can sense at all times it's hunger for flesh, it's intense desire to sink it's thousand teeth into your body at 5000RPM and go hunting for the bones within... Amazing tool but always be aware if it gets the chance it will go looking for your skeleton...

Effective for a while
When new and nicely sharp, this disc really eats through dry wood. The going is a big more challenging when the wood is green and the disc gets clogged very quickly, but wire brushing frequently or burning off the debris helps to keep it cutting for a bit longer. I used it to take a tree stump down below ground level and ended up buying three of them to complete the job. A tree surgeon quoted between £100-£500 plus labour, depending on stump size so spending less than forty pounds on three discs was a no brainer. I hope you find my review helpful

Eficaz, pero cuidado! Se come la madera como si fuera mantequilla, incluso maderas duras.
