CasioGents 43.00mm Quartz Watch with Grey Digital dial and Silver Metal Bracelet Strap WV-58RD-1AEF

I've been looking for a digital watch as I've managed to break two analogue ones. Most of them are either those big daft gshock things the size of a small car or the original 70s style tiny square face things.This is a good size, might look a little small on big wrists though. Easy to set up- just select your timezone and it does the rest automatically. Looks smart and works well as a day to day watch. Not tested any water resistance so can't comment on that.

This is a lovely, accurate watch, being a wave ceptor, but you'll have work to do. The display is great and the light works. The strap comes in large, so you will most likely need to adjust. There are you tube videos that show you how to remove links-its not too hard, but not the usual single pin removal. I haven't tried the water resistance, but I would rather a resin strap than stainless steel underwater - just a feeling. I'm happy to know I can relax in water, though. It has updated every night, any this is most vital for me. The strap looks quality but is lighter than you would think. It has a satisfying chunky feel on the wrist. All in all I'd recommend this lovely Casio. I rather like the look of the square one too.

Clear dial/screen, I think it looks quite smart and seems reasonable quality. A little bit of a faff initially setting up, but to be honest that was down to me not reading the instructions correctly. However there are no instructions about adjusting the strap, eventually found something online, but even then it’s not easy and I’m an ex toolmaker with an extensive tool collection. I think for quite a few it would be a trip to the jeweller or perhaps risk damaging the strap. This was why I removed 1 star. Now it is all sorted I am pleased with this watch.

I bought this watch primarily for its ability to synchronise with the MSF time signal, but it has a number of very useful facilities in addition to this, and, as is the case for Casio watches I have bought previously, it is well made and is of good quality.

Does what it says, keeps excellent time, easy to read, easy to change the function and looks a lot dearer than I bought it for. I love it dearly.

This is now my favourite watch. Can use it to set all my other watches and clocks.

Excellent quality

This was a replacement for an earlier one that failed after a number of years and quite a lot of abuse! Great everyday watch with long battery life and the benefit of radio controlled time keeping. Mostly plastic construction apart from the wrist band so it is light but the paint does wear off various bits eventually. The "glass" is actually plastic and will scratch but is also easy to polish out using car paint scratch remover if you need to.
