Marucci F5 Aluminum USA Aluminum Baseball BAT, 2 5/8" Barrel

Have multiple bats in the bag. Definitely the go too swings hard and always makes contact with great pop.

My 12 year-old son plays in a recreation league which only allows a USA bat, and I took a chance on this one as a Christmas gift well-before the season even started. So glad I did! He just hit his first home run tonight over the fence and it was outta here! Even before today’s game, he had bombed several balls to the outfield, so we knew he was getting close to getting one over the fence. Apparently the other boys on the team took notice because another mother bought the exact same bat for her kid (had to mark his bat with special tape to avoid mixing them up), and now, most of the players just pass the two Marrucci bats around the dugout. We’ve purchased Easton and Rawlings in the past. Neither have provided a pop quite like this bat does. The Easton bats also seem to be littered with dings and go dead before the season ends. Maybe it’s because he’s older now? Maybe it’s because he has increased his skill level? Hard to say. Can’t argue though with a bunch of 11-12 year boys who are currently undefeated in their league more than halfway through the season.

Our son plays rec and travel baseball so we needed a USA Bat similar to to his travel bat that he can't use in rec. This bat was a good compromise on cost and he can still hit dingers with it in rec and doesn't loose a step when he picks up his travel bat.

Very good bat for my 7 year old. He loves this bat and hits very well with it

Can’t speak for the longevity as we just got this bat last week.Was looking for something to use in LL that swings and has a ‘feel’ similar to my son’s travel ball bat (also Marucci) We put about 200 swings on it this weekend and it definitely has a similar feel. Obviously it’s not going to drive the ball like a travel ball bat (this is the USA version, not USSSA) but the swing feel is very similar and has great pop for a LL allowed bat.He says it feels a lot like his travel bat and that’s inspiring more confidence!

This is my son's absolute favorite bat. He has been cranking the ball out to the fence with this bat and now he doesn't want to use any of the other bats we bought him.

Improved batting for 8 year old. Only negative is the hand grip started peeling a bit but other than that it’s great for the price

No es lo que esperaba, de acuerdo a la imagen de la publicación el tamaño y la distribución del barril no es igual, su medida si es 2 5/8 en los últimos 10 centímetros, pero en la imagen pareciera que un área mas larga de barril grande como 20 centímetros. Creo que la imagen publicada es de un bat de adulto. Espero les sirva mi comentario, ya que cuando uno busca un barril 2 5/8 es para tener una mejor área de contacto y un mejor rendimiento en el rebote de la pelota. En el caso del rendimiento no es significativo a comparación de los modelos mas económicos que ya he probado con mis hijos.
