Green Eyes (Family Storytime)

I bought this book for my almost 3 year old granddaughter. When she came to visit for a week we read it over, and over, and over. We read it at nap time, and at bedtime, and when she left for home the book went with her. She loves it! It's a sweet little story and the pictures are so colorful and charming. This book is timeless.

Ok, I'll be frank. I bought this book for myself. When I was a really little girl, around 1960, this book was in my life. Memories are fuzzy, but my whole life I had memories of each of its separate pages, of the name and the front picture. This along with Sleeping Beauty, were my favorite books. I bought this to tickle my inner little girl, to let her know that her memories have value.

I read this book at a kid, and wanted to own it because of nostalgia. My daughter helped me find it since all I could remember the plot, but not the name of the book, nor the author.It's a much bigger copy than I expected, but I'm glad to own it.

As someone who loves cats and has their entire life this was my favorite book as a child. It is just so sweet as it follows the first year of a cat's life and all he enjoys and all he rememberes, still enjoys, and speaks of simple pleasures and it soothing to read. I look forward to reading it to my future children.

This was a favorite book of my children during their preschool years. Therefore, I bought it for four young nieces and nephews. So far, it has received rave reviews from the recipients. I like the repetitive language. As well as entertaining the children, it teaches about the seasons of the year. Green Eyes is an appealing cat.

I remember this book as a little girl, I checked it out from the school library quite often, our local library does not own this book so I purchased it for my grand daughter to donate to the library so anyone can enjoy the story. I enjoyed it now just like I did when I was little.

This was my son's favorite book and is now gifted to HIS son!

This was my favorite book growing up. I bought a copy for my niece--we read it together and both love it. The illustrations are precious and the story is timeless.
