The sandals look great and fit nicely. It is light and comfortable to sit or stay. But It is a real challenge to do much walking - the soles are very hard, harder than I ever had on my dressy sandals (the last pair was Johnson &Murphy). Walking on any hard pavement echoes on my spine at any step. If you are young and your spine is in a good shape, it might not be an issue. If you are older, get them as your summer office shoes or for a party, not for walkingNote also odd sizing due to questionable conversion from European sizes. The size I got was 8.5-9, which as I guess is a conversion from European 42. I wear 9.5-10 and the sandals are perfect for me. It is certainly not real 8.5-9.

I've been wearing Pikolinos Tarifas for years. They recently improved the heel design. Light and stylish, these don't have the heavy sole found on others so they won't last as long but the feel is great. Leather work excellent; very comfortable walking both indoors and outdoors (on payment or hard surface). I have a pair of the black and another in tan.

I have had a pair of these once before which I purchased some 8 or 10 years ago. They are nice looking quality sandals. The best of the fisherman sandals that I have found that can be bought by a major shoe manufacturer. I went with black simply because my last pair were tan and I wanted to mix it up a bit. I will also be adding a more substantial sole (as I did with my last pair). Nothing wrong with the manufactured sole just my personal preference.

Originally ordered a size 8, my husbands usual size, but had to return as fit was large. Returned for a size 7 which fit perfectly. Beautiful leather and very well made. So comfortable and can only see them getting better with use. Would definitely buy again.

The sandals are fine and extremely comfortable. - excellent. my one dissatisfaction is the length of time it took between ordering and receiving them. This is not really satisfactory.
