21.5 Inch (Diagonally Measured) Privacy Screen for Widescreen Computer Monitors

I bought this for my 22" monitor to give me privacy.Pros: works VERY WELL for privacy. Unless you are within 10 degress from straight on you can't see anything on the screen.Easy to install with the included double sided tape.Cons: wasn't big enough for my monitoring leaving a solid 3/4" area around the screen where it's not protected. This causes some hard reading as pages go from darker privacy to lighter unprotected. I end up resizing my apps to the size of the privacy screen, losing some real estate and making the maximize button worthless.As a 20 year member of Amazon I rely on independent reviews when shopping and I will always try to be as honest and impartial as I can and will try to provide helpful insight into the product. I am reviewing this product as it relates to how it works for me in my intended use. I tend to review products that I really like, or that let me down in some manner. I purchased this product last week. My reason for purchasing it was because I had been using a new computer for a month and was suffering extreme headaches and eye pain every time I went on the computer which I need to study. The pain got so bad that I was feeling it at night when trying to sleep. I had to stop using the computer then after a few days the pain would subside, however as I started looking at the screen again, the pain would then come back. I could not even focus on a book. Initially I did not know what was causing it as it never happened before. I thought I might have high blood pressure. I had it checked and it was not that. I explained my symptoms and was told it could be eye strain from using a computer and that I should invest in a computer screen cover.I never thought of it as I never had this issue with my previous computer. Apparently though it is the blue light or eye glare. I even turned the brightness down on the computer very low, but still eye pain I compared this with three other computer screen covers. they all reviewed ok, but I chose to go with this one. I liked the little pictures at the side which showed how to measure it and how it would fit. I also read the information about privacy or to reduce eye glare. With this cover you can turn it on one side glossy for total privacy which means people cannot see what is on your computer from the side, only if they are facing it. You can turn it on the other side matt eto reduce eye glare which can contribute to strain.I have been using this for a week now and my headaches and eye strain seem to have disappeared after two days in . I am happy with this as I can now get back to my studies. It is an excellent product, but I do believe it is a little costly, hence the one star removal.I do think most of the brands are costly in general.

Bought this for an office computer that is visible to visitors to keep screen infomation private. Am very pleased as it does the job and was very easy to fit. I have knocked it down a star for price as more expensive than I would expect for something that seems so simple.

It fit the screen perfectly and it works. I think £60 is very dear for what it is hence why I've dropped one star (it was almost as much as the screen it was bought to fit.!) but it does at least work..

Can't fault this product. Easy to put on screen. Very clear for user and almost impossible for anyone else to see the screen. Solved a massive problem in my small office otherwise would have had to buy new desk and reorganise the room.
