ALTRATrail Gaiter Protective Shoe Covers

They work like a gator should on ultra shoes equipped for them

Walking through fields of grasses, weeds, and brush without gaiters will allow dirt, sticky seeds and foxtails getting into your socks and shoes causing discomfort and requires frequent stops to remove them. Foxtails are extremely hard to remove from socks and the padding in shoes. These gaiters are designed for Altra hiking shoes and easily attach to the Velcro patch at the back of the shoe and front latch hooks to the lace. This system is much better than other gaiters that have loops that under the bottom of the shoe. These gaiters well in protecting socks and shoes from foreign object. Not water proof or recommended for going over pant legs.

I bought the smallest size, thinking they would work since I also have Altra brand shoes. These were just big and baggy! They are too long for my size 8 shoes. So unless you’re like a women’s 10 or above, these just won’t fit the shoe!

What a great addition to the Altra shoe line. The Peak series has a gaiter capture system already built in so this marries with that system perfectly, thus elevating the quality of the already amazing Altra trail shoe line to one of the best out there.
