Great to use, and doesn't require soldering if you don't want to remap the L3, R3 or touchpad buttons. Took me about an hour to do. Be careful not to snap the clips on the case.I had added a previous 1 star review, but this was due to the interior packaging being open and a few screws were missing. After checking the instructions the missing screws didn't make a difference as i could use the screws from original controller, and their ones were extra.I used it in conjunction with the clicky hair trigger upgrade so maybe the upgrade can take take less than an hour if you don't have any issues.

First time opening up a controller, video instructions were easy to follow and worked with no issues. Very happy to have saved money rather than buying a pro or scuf controller.

I bought this as a replacement for my ps4 controller that had a Sony attachment to it so I was grown to the feeling of using paddles while playing shooters! Upon installing it was very tricky but I followed a YouTube tutorial very closely and the ribbon cable just torn when installing! I alerted extreme and they issued a refund that took 10 days to come (I paid next day when purchasing this from Amazon) from china And this time I installed it all correctly! A day goes by and my back buttons stop working? I took the pad apart to see another ripped cable?? I finally had enough of this since the paddles wasn’t doing what I wanted to do in the first place and just took the kit out my controller and now I don’t play on my ps5 at all cause it feels very alien to play without paddles and I suck playing shooters without them! Wish I could get a refund but unfortunately don’t think I will.

Quite tricky to install, not for a complete novice I'd say. Once installed it didn't work, had to take it all apart again which is a hassle but it just needed the main contact ribbon pushing down. Works very well BUT the controller no longer fits in the official charger! Good option if you want paddles but the charger thing is a bummer.

This was quite easy to do,there are a couple of gd walk thoughts on you that will talk you though it , but I fount it easy,nice click sounds,but maybe get the grip version or buy separate grip as it does make your hands sweat being so smooth, but not going to dock and stars for that,just make sure you had your own screwdriver as the one that comes isn’t magnetic with screws being so small

Fitted this to my already modified controller with eXtremeRate rate parts - clicky face buttons and hair triggers.Very easy to fit and soldering is only required if you require the L3/R3 and/or touchpad to be remappable to the back buttons. If you dont, it's as simple as slotting in a few ribbons and you are away.Fantastic quality and may end up with some custom coloured buttons next to top it all of!

This is not an easy product to set up and you will need soldering equipment to make it work. Quite frankly, charging £35 for kit that comes in small bags with basic instructions is a joke.I do not recommend this product
