Good product, but . . .
This suction mounting pad for cell phone dashboard holders is a really good product. But, for my needs it was lacking in one very key area, no adhesion to the car’s dashboard. This was not due to the 3M adhesive disk side, but instead due to the less than perfectly smooth dashboard surface of my car. The dashboard’s surface had a texture to it so the adhesive was not capable of creating a secure, stuck on disk. This absolutely needs to be mentioned in the products description, it was not, anywhere.Plus, I wasn’t paying real close attention and didn’t notice this product order is for 1 ea. When I was looking for a second, back up, cell phone mounting disk and saw the product’s picture, I thought: wow that looks exactly like the one I already have, plus you get two. That’s not the case. You only are buying a single mounting disk. The product’s picture shows the front and back of the disk. So when you don’t pay close attention, fully read the descriptions, you may interpret the front and back images as indicating your buying two disks, as I did!

Good customer service
I cleaned my dash before mounting, picked the flattest spot I could find, then stick this pad to it. Seemed fine at first. As SOON as I put my phone mount on it and put my phone in, it fell off within seconds.UPDATE!!! - very quickly after I posted my review, the company contacted me and asked if I would be willing to try their product again, they were concerned I did not install it properly. I said sure, so they immediately sent me another one free of charge, expedited shipping. I just received the new one today, have not attempted to install it yet, but I am pleased with the customer service at this point. I did not reach out to them asking for a refund or anything, I just considered it a loss... but they just saw my review and reached out to me. Other companies could learn from them. Keeping customers happy is what counts.

No adhesive on double sided tape.
There was no adhesive on the tape. The red plastic that you would normally peel off just kind of fell off. now I have a useless plastic disk I bought for $7
