Great cheap brushes at a great price
Definite a 5 star buy for the price and amount of brushes you get. The brush quality feels like a flimsy plastic but it is thick enough to use and hold comfortably. They are on the very light side and I do like something w more weight. Function wise they get the job done and they do it well. I use them for my metallic and shade paints which can ruin my expensive brushes. The bristles are on the longer side and I’d prefer them to be shorter but it’s not a con for me. The detail work you can use with these brushes is pretty amazing. I am able to do my like shading on the miniatures I paint extremely well. They hold a lot of paint which is rather surprising. The best part is that they clean up well with brush soap and care which allows them to hold their point rather well.. I’ve been able to get a lot of use off of one brush and when it gets dull or ruined by the paints I use I can just toss it and use a new one. All in all, they are super easy to use , light enough for anyone to hold well and they do quality work. You can. It go wrong w these brushes

Great value
These aren't fantastic Sable brushes, but they are decent quality and you can't beat the value. I use these brushes for painting miniatures and they are very good for that purpose. I find that I get at least a couple dozen painting sessions out of each brush, as long as I take decent care of them. I always wash them when I'm done and use a brush cleaner/conditioner on them, but that keeps them in good condition for quite a while. Most of the brushes I received were in as good, or better condition than more expensive brushes I've purchased. The size and shape of the brushes is a little inconsistent throughout the package, but I find that to be a help instead of a hindrance. It allows you to pick different brushes that are better suited to the task. They're also great for new painters to the hobby because there's no guilt if you destroy a brush. These brushes are a fantastic value and I highly recommend them to any miniature painter.

Great for the price
Great for the price but after a few uses the top (metal part where the brush is) comes unglued. Good for acrylic and enamel paints.

For the price, I'm not sure if I will ever use anything else
So, I got these brushes yesterday, and I decided to paint a model exclusively with an 00. This is not my normal procedure, I just wanted to see what would happen. Pictures are associated with the review. It was a warhammer 40k Orc with rokit launcher. I've taken a picture of the brush after finished just one single model. There is a slight hook of the fibers at the tip of the brush that was probably created during the edge highlighting of the model. My impression. . . look if you paint better than this. Then congratulations! This quality of paint job has easily won local paint competitions once the model is based. It's happened, believe it! That said, there was nothing about this brush that would have prevented me from spending a couple extra hours and making everything even better. In short, I don't see any limitations to these brushes other than durability. That said, I go through a $6 dick blick masterstroke in about 15 models, much less if I'm not careful. That was my cheapest solution until these. I've also lost brushes much faster in my earlier days because I did not notice paint going into the ferrule. I expect that I can get 3 complete models per brush from these brushes and so in my book, it's about 3x value I was getting out the master strokes and I would have to cut the hairs at the ferrule to keep the expensive brushes going as long as possible.

Really a good deal for 50 pcs pack of brushes having adequate performance and very affordable price
I have been using this type of brushes for a couple of days before coming back to give the review here. Overall, I am very satisfied with them due to its very affordable price and adequate performance. They can hold a sharp point, can resume its shape quickly after I lay down a brush stroke, and they are durable for a couple of days without a problem in my painting. Of course, because they cost so much less I don't expect they can deliver equal performance as those expensive kolinsky sable brushes do for a long time (yes, I do have some expensive brushes like Winsor & Newton Series 7 that I frequently use in my painting). But they are so affordable that I can even just throw a brush away when its performance started to degrade a bit after a few days of use. No need to worry about or spend extra time to take care of the brushes as I used to for my expensive brushes because I have 50 brushes in a pack! That's really good for me and saving me time. Overall, 5 stars and highly recommended budget product in supplement to my current set of brushes. [Edit on Oct 31] Added a short video here that I recorded using my mobile phone when receiving the pack a few months ago. I have been using this pack of brushes for some time and I am very satisfied with it. A really great deal with a great balance between performance and unit price. I will certainly order more when these are used up.

Useless for mini painting
The bristles are like twice as long as on the product description. I wanted to use them for painting miniatures since it tends to go through synthetic brushes very quickly but using these long floppy bristles is like painting with an overcooked noodle. They're probably usable as a not-so-fine fineliner on a flat surface, the quality isn't terrible considering the price, but they are not as described in the listing due to bristle length

One Happy Cheap, er Choice, is a good value for paint clubs and beginners.
TL;DR I purchase these brushes for a local paint club because they have a decent tip, and a decent lifespan , even when treated roughly. Longer Description: These are solid C+ brushes with a good price per brush. The handles are thin and short, and the ferrule is not always glued to the handle. Be prepared with your own glue to fix the ones with this "feature". If you clean them after each painting session, they will last a reasonable amount of time. The bristles are thicker than other synthetic brushes and paint seems to slide off of the brush "faster". I think it's a characteristic of the thicker bristles. Anecdotes: I run a gaming store paint club that allows customers to use the painting area any time the store is open. This results in severe cases of brush abuse. These brushes are left bristles down in rinse water, caked with paint, and they are generally mashed into things with heavy handed glee. That's OK! They are affordably priced AND they clean up easily with brush cleaner. If you CAN watch the brushes when they are used, you can prevent some of the things I cannot prevent. This means a longer lifespan and and even BETTER value per brush!

Make sure you have glue handy
Great value for the amount of brushes you receive. You will need glue however, about one quarter of the silver brush holder tops detached from the wooden handles. An easy fix, but this will happen to you. The glue used in manufacturing was obviously not high quality. The brushes themselves are fine and good for detail work. I've been using them for acrylic on canvas painting. I would buy again considering the low price, huge quantity, and decent brush head (even if I have to re-glue the holders to the handles).

For 40p a brush they fair pretty well.
Surprised how well they hold paint ( Oil paint in my case. Id say they last as long as it takes to paint detail covering an A3 board without the tips splaying too much. I would say they are good for line details ( edging ) but dont produce as consistent a line as more expensive brushes do..You just need to hold the hand a little steadier thats all.
