My shoelace got caught on something and it tore through four of the shoelace holes. Very poor workmanship for a $160 pair of shoes that are less than 3 mos. old.

Wanted white shoes, just to complete my shoe collection and glade that I came cross the R1 Adidas. Nice shoes.

Worth the price

My daughter needed comfortable black shoes for work so these were my first thought. I’ve been a sneaker collector for 20 years and buy only authentics from authorized retailers and know how to look for fakes. I took a chance on these and was worried that they might be fake since I never heard of the seller but with Amazons excellent return policy I went for it. Got them today and they are indeed 100% authentic. The quality is great and they fit her perfectly. Shipment was super fast. Also for anyone wondering about fit, go true to size for these.

I was hesitant after reading reviews about people receiving what they perceived to be fake shoes. I ordered them anyway and was disappointed when I received them. They might not be fake, but they're factory seconds (damaged/defective and wouldn't typically leave the factory to be sold) at a minimum. There is excess glue, damage to rubber/gum areas, poor construction where different materials meet, and worst of all, the footbed is rippled. You can feel it when you wear the shoes; they will not last long. There is an odd hangtag on the shoes that has poor English grammar.How do I know the real deal or "firsts" are better quality? I ordered the same shoes from Dick's Sporting Goods and received them today. None of the issues with the Amazon-ordered shoes are present on the shoes I received from Dick's. That includes the hangtag with poor English grammar. In addition, the price was the same at both retailers, and shipping from Dick's was only one day longer than amazon. The return to Amazon is already in progress.
