When I first opened the package I thought “oh crap it’s flimsy wire-the lights are so small- oh no I was in such a hurry I didn’t even see it’s battery operated” I was so wrong. Wile E Coyote could hang an anvil with this wire. The tiny lights are so bright and vivid. The remote control is friggin awesome and has a timer too. It’s water proof case and my stupid dollar tree batteries have lasted forever! Even tho it’s 33 feet and bright it doesn’t drain too much battery (I’m gunna get rechargeables eventually) So first impression was “oh no” and now it’s “oh wow” so buy this thing it’s a helluva deal

I bought this so that I’d have a timer for these lights, which are on a privacy trellis covered with artificial leaves on my porch. I had some other lights, but they didnt have a timer, no remote, were a bright harsh white, and only half as long. This trellis is on my porch, which has beautiful warm white lights around the ceiling, so the super bright white didnt go well colorwise, and I needed two sets to cover both Trellises. The other lights around the ceiling are on a timer, and I thought it would be good to have these on the same lighting schedule.These are very long too, at 33 feet (I think). They take three AA batteries and the package says they’re good for outdoor use as well. So all that is great. The batteries last a decent amount of time. I’d be happier to get more use out of each set of batteries, but this is okay.The remote is easy to use—no confusion about what setting you’re on. It’s the timer that is really easy and simple. You just hit the timer button and six hours later they go off. There’s no ability to have them come on automatically but with the battery life, I don’t mind that.My only complaints are that these are not very bright. The bright white set I had before really produced a decent amount of light. These are nowhere near as bright. I’m not using them for reading light, so it’s not that big a deal, but I’d still be happier with them if they were a bit brighter. They do look beautiful tucked inside the leaves, though, and one set covered both trellises (about 7 feet by 3 feet). I haven’t had any problems with rain getting on them, so they seem to handle outdoor use just fine.I’ve ordered two more sets for a couple of wall art pieces I’ve made that will hang pretty high up on walls with a vaulted ceiling. The main reason for that purchase as because of the remote control. Those pieces will be so high that I’d need to use a ladder to turn on a set of lights without a remote. This remote has performed well with no malfunctioning at all, so as long as I do t run them six hours per night, shouldn’t have to use the ladder very often—only to change the batteries.I’m happy with these. The price is fair. The timer and remote work very wellThey could stand to be a bit brighter, but they’re good enough. I’m happy with this purchase.

I love the soft light of these and how long they are. I was able to double it around my room and triple a little. The wife of easily bendable so I used clear thumbtacks to wrap them around. The con is I want a slow constant twinkle, but these don’t have that option. The only close mode is a fast then slow twinkle so I just keep them on steady.I also used rechargeable AA batteries and a multi charger all from Amazon too! Keeps bright for 4-5 days then it becomes too dark so I just switch them out for the charged ones :D It’s better than buying a bunch of them

Small silver wire with tiny lights which helped to hide the wire in my flowers, needed to order a few to get the project done but they were beautiful and loved the multiple light settings. Would buy again

Love the timer option. Turn on and off the same time every day. Batteries have held up at two weeks and counting. They are wire, so there needs to be care when unwinding.

The way it unwound was great no tangels, It is now notcworking

Long string of lights w/ different settings. Use them indoors & they worked well for SPD & I’ll use them at Xmas too. I would recommend for sure.
