Longruner Watch Repair Kit

I didn't have high expectations for this rope light as it's the same thing as battery powered 'fairy lights' that are in a silicone tube. They are NOT like the old school rope lights of years ago that college kids used to hang in their dorms or that people put under their deck railings. Even so, these were cheap so I decided to buy them.I have a deck that is about 30" off the ground with NO railings. Looks great but unless you have a porch light on, it is way too easy to walk off the edge of the deck and break your neck. I was looking for rope lights to mount under the edge of the deck to cast light on the ground below and hopefully give an unsuspecting guest a little bit of warning before they stepped off. These just aren't bright enough to cast light onto the ground below.Feeling defeated, I set the rope down on the deck and by accident, it noticed the rope is almost exactly the same size as the gap between the deck boards. EUREKA! Why not use the lights as 'run way markers' to mark the edges of the deck? So I pushed the tube gently into the void between the boards and went all the way around the deck's edge. It looks AMAZING and super professional. The tube is so flexible that I could even bend it on a hard 45 deg angle to go around the corner of the deck. Pictures do not do this kit justice!01/09/18 UPDATE - Somewhat disappointed in the lifespan. Moisture got inside the battery box after just a few months and ended up shorting out the circuitry inside. I will likely order another set in the spring and give it a second go.

This is a really nice set of lights, especially for the price. I was surprised by the length as well as how slender the rope is; this probably affects the brightness of the lights, so if you want something brighter, go with a cool white, and plug in variety. So far they are living up to my expectations - in quantity, adequately lighting outdoors events, and are especially great for outdoors locations (beach, forests, backyard, etc) where a lack of enough wattage/outlets to plug everything in. The only concern I have with the lights is, while I appreciate the many lighting effects/settings, it's somewhat annoying to have to push through the one button (makes for easy operation though) to find the solid light setting. I would also be concerned over the more aggressive light settings if you or someone around you suffers issues from strobing. Overall, I recommend these lights, and will definitely be buying more of them!

These are ok. I used them on our front flower beds for Christmas lights. They're not as bright as I hoped they would be, they seemed dim compared to my other lights on the trees, and the batteries only lasted about a week. We used the timer option. I will be moving them to my back patio, tho, for any nights we have guests.Update: Just FYI, customer service contacted me about my review to see if they could help with anything, which no other company has done so far on an order from Amazon. That alone deserves a boost in ratings.

We live in cold Minnesota and wanted to dress up our metal palm tree.I didn't want to run an extension cord under our deck and worried about the elements until I found these string lights. They are perfect!!!They last in the cold, work perfectly and look amazing!!I can't say how long the batteries last as we only turn them on when it gets dark and off before bed. We'll have to play around with the timer still.But I'm thrilled with this purchase and am excited for them during our summer months now too!!

These are working as expected. Timer works as well as all of the other options except the DIM function.Close enough for me.These are also much smaller in diameter than the old rope lights.These come With plastic mountings if you want to permanently anchor them somewhere. Nice bonus.

The product "worked" but it wasn't nearly as bright as I was expecting and the immediate comment from my wife was overall disappointment. I'm not sure why it is so hard to find a decent awning light solution on Amazon but these "new" rope lights don't do the trick. A lot of it has to do with the power allotted - anything powered by batteries is likely not bright enough for your application.

So long! I couldn't believe that how long it was - when I received it I had actually forgotten that that was 33" in length. The warm white color looked great under my outdoor movie screen. Held up well over a summer and fall outside 24/7 in a partially protected area. I even hit it once or twice with my (low-powered) weedeater and it has held up fine.

these lights can be used for a myriad of needs. They are very flexible and Light. One remote can be used on many of these and the batteries me and you don't have to worry about where to plug them up. I use these around my front porch column and they were perfect. The remote allowed me to set my lights on each rope column and the remote also allows you to set different light displays.

These are really lovely safe lights as they hang on my curtains.The reason for four stars is batteries run down very fast.(I used Duracell)Remote is really fun and practical if they hang high up.

I bought this for our stairwell so if our daughter needed up through the night she could switch a light on herself. She loves it and it keeps her safe. Good purchase

So good we bought 3.Worth investing in some rechargeable batteries though, as they don't last that long.

Timer is an excellent feature looks good and battery lasts a very long time in it

these are really cool. I have used them for under my kitchen cabinets for lighting, and they will be great for if the power goes out (which it does from time to time). I went and bought the command strips for this type of lights and it has worked out quite well. My husband though I was nuts but he does like the effect now.

... man sollte aber beim Outdoor-Gebrauch bedenken, dass die Batterien in der Kälte nicht lange halten. Ich finde den Lichterschlauch daher für den Balkon und Terrasse oder gar im Garten ungeeignet. Durch die Kälte waren unsere Batterien jeweils nach 2-3 Tagen leer.Das Produkt sollte hier nicht als "Outdoor-Lichterschlauch" angeboten werden. Es empfiehlt sich einfach nicht. Ansonsten ein tolles Teil, viele tolle Lichtreflexe einstellbar und damit sein Geld wert.

Ich hab sie als Party Beleuchtung benutzt. Die verschiedne Blink Arten brauch ich nicht ich hab sie einfach auch Dauer Beleuchtung gestellt. Die Fernbedienung als an und aus Schalter ist find ich zumindest praktisch. Für Weihnachten wären sie aber auch gut nutzbar, weil sie ein sehr warmes Licht macht. Allerdings als Haupt Beleuchtung wäre es zu wenig Licht.

Molto carino il cavo luminoso, sia bianco che colorato e il fatto che ci siano le batterie lo trovo geniale per tutte quelle persone che non hanno prese a disposizione sul balcone. Piccola osservazione se le luci all'interno del cavo fossero più grandi sarebbe meglio perché si vedrebbero di più!

a differenza di altre luminarie questo è a luce calda, per un effetto meno psichedelico rispetto a quelli a luce bianchissima che si vedono sui balconi.

Ottime!!...l.ideale per esterni perché non ha presa elettrica, ma va con pile.Il telecomadino poi le rende ancora piu efficienti.L.unica piccola pecca le istruzioni non ci sono in italiano

Come da descrizione. Molto bello e tutto funzionante. il telecomando con tutte le varie funzioni e' utilissimo. Consegna perfetta. Rapporto qualita'/prezzo eccellente.

Luci belle, potenti e ben regolabili. Il telecomando seppur comodo faceva molta fatica a funzionare a distanza. Durata delle batterie nella norma

Everything is good, except I wish the batteries would last longer and that you would be able to change the light functions from further away. You have to be fairly close to the lights to make any changes.
