Simple assembly, literally I mean that. Affix the back to the base and *poof*. It's comfy to sit in, the cotton fabric is durable, but soft to touch. Seems to be a keeper. And well-worth the price. And it swivels.

It doesn’t take a carpenter to install these chairs.
I am 81 years old and had absolutely no problem setting up these bar stools myself. Easy, easy. And I should also respond that I am 5 ft. And 100 lb# “woman” .

A very good stool with a simple & effective design!
I purchased this stool to use when playing timpani as the commercial offerings are terribly expensive! With the option of a removable back this wasn't any harder to transport than a basic wooden Walmart stool and "transport" is important! The stool proved to be both sturdy and comfortable!!
