Works great.
We have been using this product for quite a few years & it really cuts down on our 16 yr. Old Ragdoll cats throwing up hairballs! After a good brushing, he get a ribbon of it, as a treat & he loves the taste of it. I just hold the tube up to his mouth & he licks it like crazy! Great product!

GREAT PRODUCT-My cat loves the taste—chicken.
My cat actually likes the taste of this and eats it off my finger! I’ve never had that happen with any other hair ball product. So far so good—no hair balls in the last few weeks. Love the fact that it contains no petroleum jelly.UPDATE: I give this morning and night to my senior cat who suffers from hairballs and constipation (megacolon). I smear it on his paw and he eats it right off. This stuff is is a game changer—one hair ball in one month and it has drastically affected his bowel issues. He is pooping no problem and is much more active because he just feels better overall. Yes he is on a medication (cisapride) for his constipation but it wasn’t working that great until we added this product into his daily routine. Give it time...you should see a difference over a few weeks. I want to add that it’s more of a toothpaste consistency rather than a “gel”, not that it should matter but wanted to make note. Good luck with your kitties!

WHY did they change the formulation?!?!?!
I've been using the chicken-flavored hairball gel for a couple of years now, both for hairball remedy and to administer meds, and the cats loved it. Nice, smooth, mild smell/flavor. Ordered it again, and now there's a new tube, and apparently a new formulation??? But the first set they sent was long expired, hard and dry, and stunk to high heaven. So, I ordered it again, and the picture on the listing was the same as the OLD, BETTER version. Got the 'new' dark orange tube. Looked at the expiration date (7/24), so thought I'd be open minded and try it. It was a better texture, but still stunk. The cats turned away from it. SOOOOO disappointed in NutriVet. Going to return it AGAIN, and never reorder this product from NutriVet.

My cats love this...no more overfilled tubes
Update November 2021 - This Hairball gel had an issue with expanded/overfilled tubes and I stopped buying it several months ago. Also my cats no longer would go near it. . However, I took the plunge and tried it again and the tubes came with normal fill. So I thought I would mention this since so many may avoid due to prior reviews on the almost 'bursting' tubes. My cats like it again, so the formula must be back to the way it was. Have no fear in ordering this again.*************************************************************************************************************Two of my cats will eat this straight from the tube. One is a Sr. Kitty (15 yrs old) and it helps him with constipation and hair balls. My third cat has no interest. However I noticed the price is going up and up especially for the chicken flavor. Ican’t find it on other sites (out of stock). I am thinking it is due to the meat processing shortages in the US. I hope this comes into bigger production soon as the boys dont care for fish anything....

Finally found a product that works!
I've been giving my cat this hairball gel for a month and not a single hairball has appeared since he started on this product. My cat is an over groomer and hairballs were a weekly event at my home. Yuck! He refused to eat all other products I tried in the past. Out of desperation I tried this paw gel and he loves the taste. He actually licks it from the tube. I don't expect it to totally eliminate all of his hairballs but so far it has made a huge difference ...... no hairballs in the past month. I now ordered this 2 pack since I don't want to run out and as a bonus it came with a discount. Price was better than my initial purchase from a different company. I give this to him once a day. Happy cat, happy mom!

Kitty Crack!
Kitty absolutely loves the salmon gel. He thinks it's a special treat!! His coat is shiny and it helps him to stop throwing up fur balls but when he does - it makes it so easy for him!

Cats love the taste I love the formula.
My cats go nuts for the taste and I appreciate the fact that there are no petroleum oil’s in there. So many of the hairball remedy products on the market today have basically Vaseline in them. Not this stuff. I’ve been using it for years and I’m glad that I can get it online as I can no longer find it in the stores in my town. I don’t even have to force the cats to take it I just spread a little bit on my finger and they lick it right off. The only problem I have is making sure that they don’t and get into the tube On their own. The consistency is more like a toothpaste rather than a runny oily mixture.

New Formula-Terrible!!
I have a policy-"If it isn't broke, don't fix it!" I don't know what the manufacturer was thinking, they had a great product. I've been using this product for a while and first, my cat loves it. Second, and more importantly, it worked! For some reason, the manufacturer changed the formula. The 'new' formula is very hard and dry. When I tried to squeeze it out of the tube it was so hard that using two hands to get it out, I still couldn't. I contacted the manufacturer and they answered me with a form letter saying that they're working on it, supposedly. So I tried something on my own. Looking at the ingredients, one of them is water. So I opened one of the tubes and added a little water to it. Let it set for a while (days) and worked the tube with my fingers to mix it up. It did soften up somewhat, so I added more water and I was finally able to dispense it from the tube a bit easier, but still not like the original texture. Good luck, maybe you can try this so you can still use it. It really is a great product, I hope the manufacturer gets it right again soon.

C'est la meilleure marque à mon avis
C'est la seule marque de pâte laxative que mes chats acceptent et certains même l'adore (poulet seulement)

New formula and it's awful. My cat hates it
I ordered thinking it was the original cat paw gel because it was a great product. It spread on my finger like toothpaste and my cat loved it. The picture on the tube is of the original gel. What I got was the new stuff that is like cement. It is dry thick and doesn't have the consistency of the original product and my cat hates it. It comes out in dry chunks and my cat can't lick it. It's so thick it just falls to the floor. It's awful. Don't waste your money.

My cat just licks it off my finger.
I'm really glad I found a type of hairball medecine that my old cat really likes. It's not a fuss to give it to her. I put a bit on my finger and she'll lick my finger clean.
