Authentic Mexican beans
My wife grew up in Central Mexico. I had always thought that pinto beans were the go to Mexican bean. Wife explained to me that she had never tasted a pinto bean until she came to the US. These Mayocoba Beans were all that she had ever known as a kid. I do like the flavor of these a lot, they cook a little faster than pinto beans and that can be good.

These are fairly hard to find,the quality of this bean is very good.Will be buying again,also a decent price.

Didn’t cook up softly.
Soaked for 24hours. Cooked for two. Some beans were soft others a soft/solid. Flavor was great.

Mayacoba-Peruano Beans
I love my beans, I can’t find these at Kroger anymore. I’m glad Amazon has them. They are super clean and very yummy, only garlic and salt.

Mayocoba Beans
Anyone that knows me, knows I DO NOT like beans. They don't like me. However, I bought these as a new taste for my hubby (who loves beans of all kinds) and I ended up eating far more than my share. They are creamy, mild, just full of flavor! We've now cooked them with smoked Ham Hocks (top choice), ham bone, and Salt pork. If there's anything left over, throw in a pat of butter and grab your immersion blender and you have some of the tastiest refries.
